Yep, another i quit post.

Even though i waited a month before i purchased this game still has just too many issues to warrant continued support. Maybe Funcom will pull there heads out of there PR butts and fix AoC like they ended up doing 1 year later with Anarchy Online. Course i will not spend a years worth of subs waiting for things to get fixed and implemented.

Oh well i am off to play another MMO, heres hoping AoC gets fixed eventually.

You should give wow a try I was pretty big into AOC myself but wow is my new love. I have not come across any bugs yet and the talent points that I have work as well. They have a duel function in this game that is just as good or even better than AOC's pvp atm although I hear they are adding some pvp stuff in AOC sometime.

You can also do organized PVP in wow starting at level 10 which is cool also. Funcom is still the best MMO maker out there but they need more time to get stuff done. Good luck

Common sense, isn''t.

I think both the current state of the game and the release of AoC are/went fairly well actually. It's a pretty silly thing sort of acceptence because we should require more as customers, but I've frankly experienced things that were so much worse in my 11 years of MMOing.

These days I head into a new MMO expecting it to be terrible for the first 3 months, and I usually don't race ahead to reach the endgame because it's a wasted journey since they rarely have any the first 6.

I guess some people are quick to forget the horrors of the past, because I'm having a hard time thinking of a MMO which released in a better state, which is rather sad. :P

When they start making drastic changes to the over all game design, it does raise eyebrows.  remember AC2?

Requiem is a f2p and has basicly the same thing now that AoC has now that the developers are 'fixing' the game play.

Yeah, it is sad, because it means you haven't been around much.  Neither have I really, but off of the top of my head I can name LotRO, Lineage 2, COH/COV just to name a few.  (I played all 3 at launch)

I'm still playing AOC, but seriously considering returning to EVE early as my guild is breaking up due to people quitting or wanting to join one of the current end game guilds so they can experience the siege content before everyone walks away from this game.
