Guys... Gals... seriously. We are still looking at 20 classes ( which is a huge number) 2 ENORMOUS cities that dwarf nearly anything else out there. These cities and classes are more than likely coming back in later ( and even then, 20 classes is still an enormous number).

Until you have actually went into the two capital cities and understand how big it is, I wouldn't go overboard on this.

I understand you trying to make things civil and I agree they should be civil but two things:

1. How much more content can Mythic take out of the game and release it (theoretically) and ppl still should go "well, this is all for the best of the game even if there is only 1 race, 2 classes and no cities". 

2. You know when Mythic said "we are only polishing the game".... now that wasnt entirely true was it?!!!!! I wouldnt call leaving out 4 classes and 4 cities from the game when the release date even isnt out yet as "we are only polishing".  So pls everyone stop "MJ is so honest...".

So what are the odds that it is a huge coincidence that Mythic instead of delaying it which they can easily do and I believe ppl would have more respect for them since "it's ready when it's ready", releaing a non finished product just to make sure the game is out before lich king? Just be honest. If you would have 1 million dollars to place a bet. Would you place it on "it is a coincidence" or "they just need to get the game out before lich king".

I don't think much content has been removed. You still have all the big zones, which means the bulk of the content.

The other cities are going to be completed and released later, fully ready to go. Until then, players are still going to be able to visit a large and vibrant capital city, which would outshine 6 mediocre cities.

4 classes have been cut. Sad, yes, but not the end of the game. There are still plenty of other classes.

People really do whine too much, particularly people who haven't put a cent into the game.

I'm with you.  I would love to get into Beta.  Even if it is strict focus testing and not open play.  It would be enjoyable.  The game looks very worth my time.

i was thinking exaclty the same myself, seems some people have selective memory loss!

Well if I had ordered the CE I'd be really pissed off right now.

It was only $10.  I see it this way, I get to play in the open beta for $10 and see how it looks.  If it turns out the game isn't what I hoped for, then I don't have to pick up the CE at the store and I can save my money.  Since $10 barely covers the cost of a movie ticket these days I will gladly enjoy spending it on WAR so I can see how it is.  Try to think positive instead of shoving your head so far up your ass.

It's easy to delay a game? Hardly. Do you have any idea what delaying a game that costs as much as an MMO does for the finances of an MMO company? It's not pretty, and it makes stock slide fast.

Everyone keeps saying not to release games until they are "ready", but that's an objective idea when you are talking about MMOs.

What if the choice was between releasing WAR in September or not releasing it at all? Which would you choose?

So much speculation comes from this community and so many people think they are experts about things that they really don't know anything about.
