Age of Conan

I left Funcom a nice long list of things that were wrong in my cancellation.

Their updates have been near useless, breaking as many, or more, things than they fix.

After this patch we still have the 12k ms bug, which is frankly unacceptable.

Also, for three updates, minor things inside of the Armsman's Tavern arena were fixed, while the quest to get into the arena in first place remained broken.

Furthermore, they are delaying the PvP system until the launch of WAR in order to attempt to compete. All this serves to do is piss people off, both those who cancel and stay.

Age of Conan will die before WAR releases, and WAR will just step on its lifeless corpse.

Also, before you say I didn't give it a chance, I had 2 level 80 characters, being a Ranger and a Tempest of Set.

I hope Failcom goes bankrupt.

Harsh!  I hope they succeed, but learn from their experiences. 

I agree with you 100%.  Except when I went on the forums and asked why they decieved us all...I got banned until December.  Which really doesn't bother me since I basically uninstalled the client, cancelled the account and threw the game up on my bookshelf next to Dark Age of Camelot and Everquest.  I'm done with it.  Hopefully Warhammer will be a lot better and actually do what they say they are going to do.

i canceled as well. I was reluctant to do EVGA's step up program because that would leave me without a graphics card for a couple of weeks. I guess Funcom gave me an easy choice now. Looking forward to teh sexy GTX280.

2 level 80's and your crying over a level 50 instance that isnt all that great or worth the time really anyway, being broke hahahahaha-

no winning is there? if he was only level 50 you'd say that he doesn't know what he is talking about and needs to get to 80.  will there ever be a good reason for someone to quit AoC? or all they all idiots for not paying Funcom for an unfinished game?

The logic of fools is that there no logic at all.

Well - this is what I would expect people to be doing with the game less than two months old. I personally am giving the game atleast 3 months of my time before I give it up for dead, you have to admit the game is very promising, judging they deliver on ther promises that they have... promised?

I thought the game had a lot of promise as well.  But, as I've played it, I think I'm starting to realize that the way the game is designed, even if everything that has been promised was in the game and/or worked, the experience would still be shallow - too shallow for an MMO in my opinion.

The game really doesn't do anything that differently from other games, and some things it does either worse, or less.

I hope it will improve, but even if everything was "working as intended", it would still be just average, given the intention of the design.

This is going to make such an awesome Xbox 360 game!
