I played EU back when it was Project Entropia. It was my first MMO. I sweated mobs like there was no tomorrow. In the end it was such a waste of time.

If you think you're going to be able to keep that up, good luck. 10PED is $1 US you've made...congrats. The game is designed in a way that you need to deposit money in order to have fun. Very few "beat" the game in that respect.

only true if you stay close to a respawn point or have someone to heal you wile you kill.

you will also find you skill alot slower this way.

you dont seem to want to share anything about your hunt,and you havent done 2 hours research,because you dont seem to know what you are talking about.

you must have made a deposit as it would have taken you more than 6 hours to get 20 peds worth of sweat. as far as i can see you are more than 8 ped down.

I am sorry but you are going to be very very dissapointed at the end. I got simmilar thoughts. Got two avas there. played for some time. (well i still do but very very rarely).

Those 10PED from creature enjoy it. 95% of time you will receive "This creater didnt contained any loot" . I reccomend you to switch to mining, but even there you will get a lot of nrf(no resource found).

Newbie skilling is fast but killing snables and daikibas, berycleds... will get very likely boring after some time. I guess u killed it at Swamp camp. Since the loot arlogythm is random feel free to confirm or deny.

So u will need better weapon for better mobs.  But melee weapons have worst eco. You cannot add damage aplifier to your sword so u will need switch to stronger one after u max out one from TT. (L) blades are quite pricy and won't last too long.  Good luck lol.

(If you want save your money stick to laser pistoler profession.).

Crafting is most expensive thingie unless you have thenth of thousands peds (yes thats are thousands USD), so dont bother. Or read topic...one guy lost 50.000PED in 4 days. Yes again i repeat thats 5k USD.

Agreed. Eventually the game becomes a big contest of who can spend the least money and still be "uber-leet", which doesn't sound very fun to me. I'd rather not have the consequence of failure in a video game be real cash out of my pocket.

With that said, just CARRYING the sword makes it deteriorate? Really? That's a new low for RMT games.

I've never deposited and did okay mostly from other people helping me and getting lucky. The last part is the reason I quit. I wanted to like this game but it was just too chancy for me. In the end I lost nothing but time which is all I wanted in the first place once I realized that I wasn't going to withdraw.

You make the game sound like a crappy game, after I have been reading this thread I didnt feel like I wanted to try this game.

here is the reason why its definitly not the best game.

I played 2003 - 2008. then stopped now with rare logins.

All things cost money. That is fair enough. But look at the prices today.

When i started i paid 1500 ped for a Meckel and loch 35. (medium hunting rifle). Its one of the better rifles for higher monster. anyhow not extremely economic.

pay attention 2003 = 1500 ped. 2008 = 30.000 ped. Then lets transform it. 2003 = 150$ 2008 = 3000$.

Makes no sence at all.

A shadow armor. High end armor for big mobs.

2003 = 2000$. 2008 = 12.000$

a adjusted fap. healing 50. very decent economic.

2003 = 500$. 2008 = 5000$

a jaguar armor in around 2005 = 600$.  2008 = 4000$.

Then there is limited items that breakes down for good when value reach zero on the TT.

But its not the same having L which is temporary yours compared to really having your own gear.

Take into notice the game went in the ATH (all time fame) direction instead of balance. So mostly you will lose decently much money on a longer hunt. While somebody will hit 100.000 peds loots. and while you see it each month 2-3 times. your chances are not very high. its like winning in those scrabing cupons.

and talking about that. in 2003 a All time fame was 5000 ped. and the highest for years was 20.000 ped. But on the other hand the loot was balanced and you with smart equipment could come back with either profit or alteast be even. while still some must lose to others to win. it was either lose a bit or win a bit. thats how it should be.

Reselling is possible. you'll get hated of all. and you have to spend alot of time in the game doing trading.

2003 was the game named Project entropia. it was not the prettiest. it had alot of bugs. But it was pretty cheap to play. the community was smaller but stronger. and most of the features wasent nerfed or changed to benefit fewer causes.

PE/EU lost its magic. and lost its mind. Dont go there before theyy fixed this economy. The gameplay is not revolutionary at all. and its simply way too expensive compared to what you get.

Wanna chat? its a ok game for that. otherwise keep you fat ass out of there and dont waste time on it.
