Quite simply they should, and will be listening to player feedback and implementing some of those things into the game! Possibly a new race at some point - who knows? Also think there will be a large amount of changes to monster play, along with alot of new end game content. And of course new hobbies.

I believe the books will start again yeah, something like Vol 2 Book 6

It usually takes 2 weeks from test server to live so not a long wait :)

After that it is time for Moria with 2 new classes, 3 new zones, Legendary weapons and much more!

In the future?

Rohan, Gondor, Isengard, Mirkwood, Mordor

shall I continue???

This game is just getting better all the time :)

QFT.
I'm only in my 20's so I just hope there's enough exciting crap to keep me going until the Gondor expansion.

And even more will be coming when the hobbit comes out. LOTRO will go on for quite some time.

Played in the CB and couldn't buy the game, so i've lost the founders prices, now with money and the aniverssary prices I could play the trial and acquire the game.

Enjoying every little thing of this great game, along with 135 days of game time

Great game, great feeling, like I said, if you are starting the game now don't rush to the high levels but enjoy everything that you can, you will have a great experience.

''Hey now!'' - the immortal, cheesy catch-phrase of Hank Kingsly from The Larry Sanders Show.

My favourite MMO, and looks set to be for awhile, unless something really special comes along.

The ambition of the Moria expansion is truly awesome.  I mean, most of the expansion is set in the vast dungeons of Moria (well Mines),  Think of all the truly dark places there will be to explore, and what horrors lie in wait.  Monstrosities that Tolkien alluded too.

My most memorabe moment from any book, was way back when I was a very young kid. I was about ten. and had been enraptured with The Hobbit (my first 'proper' book), and was now getting to grips with The Fellowship of the Ring.   To this day, I can still recall the feeling of menace I got, merely from Tolkien's description of the dreaded drums, and of that shadowy, evil emerging at the Bridge of Kuzad-dum.   The Balrog.  Possinility one of the greatest adversaries one coud face.  Somehow, both the old animated film's version of The Balrog, and Jackson's fire-breathing one, did not have that same menace.  Sure they were great scenes, but not as good as the actual book's.

I can picture being on say Book 10 of Volume 2, and having to face a similar threat at the bridge.  I truly hope so, as it will be nail-biting stuff.

We have merely tipped the iceberg with LotrO.

There will be many changes and expansions.  No doubt there will be gameplay issues that arise that set certain people off in a rage, and then there will be the folk harkening back to launch day, and how the game has went downhill.  That is the way of things.

However, I think we are priviledged to be a part of an ever growing gaming experience, These are the but the first steps in an epic journey, and boy, is it going to be fun.

If your character is always a bit behind the fellowship, then it shouldn't be realistic that we face a Balrog in Moria..... Unless they are a dime a dozen.
