WAR (Warhammer Online)

Well i do not know the warhammer - world, and i dont think that they will alow the classes to get there normal powers from, the board game, so i havend used moat time reading about this.

But I may play:
Chosen,Disciples of Khaine or Shadow Warriors.

Ive almost given up on trying to predict what the balance will be like in WAR.

Ill admit it now so that I can beg forgiveness... I play WoW, sorry I know it hurts to hear, but atm its the only MMO that has kept me coming back for more, even if its MORE boredom.

I play my main which is a Dorf hunter, and I used to consider myself a "pvper". But I dont bother no more as the only BGs Alliance can win regulary is AV, proberly cos its more PvE based of a BG.

So like every other Alliance player planning to play WAR we are looking to go, where the kids aint!  So I constantly read all the pols and the peoples opinions on whats gonna happen and decided that you wont be able to tell whats going on till too late.

So my plans for WAR atm?  Im looking at 2 classes, Dorf Engy and Squig Herder. im leaning towards the Engy, but my uneasiness still remembers my Alliance char.

Just gotta hope theres a balance of the clever players.

Just had a thought after I presed post.

alot of people tend to post that:

High Elf will be more popular then Dark

and Empire will be close to Chaos

and Green with be more pop then Dorf

Hopefully with that guess, you will proberly get more balance than the Alliance will be more popular then Horde, when you mix the 3.

Well here's one way we can judge who many people in these forums are going toward which side...

I have no idea if this concept/idea/whatever has been posted before, but my dad is yelling at me and I don't feel like reading through all the pages :P

All of the pre-release polls come from the rather 'hardcore' group of players. Members of pre-release guilds (in most of my experiences with them at least) are not the typical makeup of the launch day crowd. Remember the race/faction polls for WoW? How the Horde outclassed the Alliance in almost every poll? Look at the population balance now.

I think Order (High Elves or the Empire, it's a toss-up between the two) will prevail as the most popular Faction/Race combination, but it'll be comprimised of more casual players (like myself when I played WOW). Destruction is going to be us hardcore types!

Ive been looking at all the classes and races and i think i'm going to be a high elf white lion. Lets say the dark elves to dominate 2:1 we probaly will get owned most times but i won't change its war after all (although its fun and has elves...) . I enjoy a challenge and the only thing from stopping me being a high elf is my friends and what they are going to be or if they are completly boring and in open beta the choas armour is litrally omgbbq that looks so cool.

Nah, they're just going to try and keep sides balanced at certain times etc. So one side can still heavily overpopulate. It's just that eventually you might not be able to log in when there's too many people of your side already on.

IMHO if they have to resort to this ... its there fault for not making order as appealing to play as destruction.
