Well all of them really, but since I had to pick one I went with open world PvP because it is the open world PvP from the early days of WoW that I still consider ‘the most fun I have had in an MMO’. |

Yes. Yes yes yes yes. I'm a bigtime PvE player (not so much the raids and eternal grinding of such, but more the 'exploring, roaming, and killing stuff part'). I'm a craft-a-holic, I'm an alt-a-holic, I'm immensely excited about PQs, I'm drooling over the ToK, I really want to explore and find the 'little hidden things' Paul has mentioned...but my poll choice here was 'large scale RvR'. DAoC's RvR system has been, to this date, the only PvP I ever truly enjoyed. That should be in giant, flashing neon. I just can't emphasize it enough. There was just nothing more thrilling than bringing down the hammers of Mjolnir on a raging Albion horde sacking your keep. I get all flustered just thinking about it. The scenarios entice me, but the thought of large scale RvR gets my blood pumpin'. WAAAAAAGH! |

Ok, I voted PVE, but..I wanted to vote for all the others. 2 reasons I didn't. Number one...the Tome of Knowledge. I am so hyped about that so I had to vote PVE. Number 2, I don't really know how the city sieges are going to go down or the open rvr battles, but I can't wait to do them. I never really got that far in DAOC due to playing it only as a trial last year. |

I am excited about RvR, and only Everquest and DAoC have held my attention longer than six months. If Mythic creates a RvR system like they did for DAoC, I think it will be a game that I can play for five years like I did with DAoC. I do like to PvE with friends and my guild mates, but the RvR is hands down the most fun I have had in any game so far. Mythic is one of the few gamming companies that have made a mmorpg with PvP or RvR that is meaningful and fun. People always talk about revolutionary game mechanics in games being made these days; IMO Mythic did that with their last game they made. The only company that had PvP was UO, and you can compare the difference between the two. I really hope with the money from EA; they can pull off a great game. I am just worried they will take the approach that so many of the games these days take ie. LoTR and AoC. I do like not the heavy quest and no grouping that goes on in those games. Thats just my personal feelings about it. |

Niiice. It looks like a large majority of people around here prefer the Open World RvR gameplay like me. I was pretty sure that City Siege would get the most votes. But then, it's not at all clear exactly how they plan to do City Siege. There's been talk of combining instances and open world aspects into city siege. That's MUCH BETTER than just instances like it used to be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |

Looks like Opoen World RvR is a solid winner on this board. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |

Well, I figured exploring and crafting could be lumped in with PvE. ;P~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |
