you are wrong because even if people could actually RUN the graphics, there will still be massive bugs, it will still lose people faster then it gains people even if DX works

I couldn't care less about DX10, but launch day was a day of infamy for Funcom. Lying through their teeth about DX10 to sell more games and then only on launch day after Open Beta and Closed and Tech and Early Access and 5 years of making the game, they only could announce it when everyone bought the game, that it wasn't in the game anyway.

Funcom = Funcon. And I must say their way of doing business is a appalling.

Besides how can adding a feature that was on the friggin box change the fact that this game is a total failure. People with super computers can't even run it smoothly (myself included) on DX9. DX10 (if ever released) will just add to the problems.

You could have included a poll asking how many people will be able to use DX10, meaning how many have DX10 ready systems? I do feel allot might have it already with their system but i DON'T think the majority of people who play games have DX10 on their system. But if you have a system i can fully understand you looking forward to it.

So I personaly don't think that ONE specific feature ....DX10 will make the game explode with people, IF FC can keep up with their patching and "IF" everything that should have been in game will indeed finaly make it atleast the end of the year, working as intended i bet the game will have a good option to grow in popularity aswell community.

And the game keeps improving in certain area's but i wouldn't call it insane improvements cause these improvement are actualy things that should have worked already, and for something to really improve it should have alread worked. Overall it's good that FC seems very aware of the situation towards certain things in their game.

Please explain to me how DX10 is going to help AoC?  It certainly won't add one iota of content which this game desparately needs, nor will it fix any of the prevalent bugs, especially those that make the game go boom.

Another poster who evidently does not understand the issues with this game.

Besides when War hits the AoC servers will be deserted.  DX10 won't help AoC one bit.

To be honest, I wouldn't doubt that DX10 would cause more problems for them .

aoc already has amazing graphics, so even better graphics is not going to attract more people, worse graphics would. and secondly dx10 is overated crap, and will give epically fail performance. and people complain about the current performance, just wait till the complains: I only get 8 fps in dx10, and I have a $9000 PC... wah wah wah...
