WAR (Warhammer Online)

There seems to be a lapse of real information in the past week regarding WAR, I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting bored with the "ZOMG COPY/CLONE/UGLY GRAPHICS/WOW/etc."  On that note, has anyone found anything relatively new regarding anything about WAR?  I'd like to actually read something that has more forethought than, "they shoulda made a 40k mmo".

Beta is not running right now, they are on a break for a few days. This was in the newsletter, they are preparing for Guild beta.

Yeah, any new stuff I've seen was in the June newsletter. A cool-lookin PvE dungeon, the Bastion Stair. There's a video of that plus one where Jeff goes into further detail about guild heraldry and standards on the main site...besides that not much.

Hey guys, remember also that E3 is the 15th -17th of this month,where we could get a new trailer and a lot of info.At least we can hope to.

Well, as far as news goes, here's a few parts of diffrent sites that got inside looks;

Massivly.com got to look over nearly every aspect of the game last month, including explaining how the classes pertain to each other, as well as public quests, the Tome of Knowledge, ect: http://www.massively.com/tag/massively-goes-to-war

Indeed. I hope to see quite a bit of info at E3 time.

Another piece of news thats seems to be flying under people's radar is the dedicated Russian Server Announcement, from the wording used it seems Russian players won't have to deal with GOA to get their WAR kicks.

Whats GOA? Im from the US...

And if Paul is at E3 then Im sure that the video from it will be kick-ass. :3

If they still feel good about there current suggested release area then I would expect a ton of info at E3 as its really the last MAJOR gathering untill then.

il try to answer best i can, prob someone from europe can do better, Since europe wont allow a game or something to be used over there without a company in europe to sell it and such. So since WAR isnt from the UK you cant have it go over there without having someone else handle it. GOA is the company picked to handle it, but there has been many past issues with them so people are skeptical.

That's totally inaccurate. Europe doesn't have any restrictions whatsoever.

The reason Mythic went with GOA (remember th
