If u r gonna enforce death penalty to reduce the cost of housing inmates in jails u might as well get rid of that human way of killing people with those syringes. They cost too much. Take a sledge hammer and bash his head to the ground. In fact let the family of the person that got murdered do it. U want revenge? there's your chance.

I support the Death Penalty for certain crimes. There are humans out there that look on other humans simply as prey. They can't be reformed, re-educated, or reasoned with.

Rape, pedofilia, and henious murders are the main crimes that I support the death penalty for.

We can't put every criminal in jail. Its a serious drain on our country's resources and I don't like paying $$$ for a murderer to just hang out for 15+ years.

The only problem i have with the death penalty is that once someone is exacuted there is no going back. Afterall what can you do if 2 years after you find out that guy was innocent all along and it was someone else entirely?

Thats all i have against exacution, if however a way was found to prove 100% accuratly that someone was guilty id have much less of a problem. Way i see it then would be he knew what the penalties were if he was caught before he commited the crime so he deservs whatever happens to him.

To live free is worth dying for.

Fry'em all.

We've not found a single "after the death" innocnet since the modern death penalty was instituted.  Teh amount of chances to prove you are not culpable, or culpable enough for the DP is MORE then enough protection.

People worry about the rights of criminals, and then wonder why there are so many damned criminals.

You need readiong comprehension "friend".

I stated MODERN DP, that means after the moritorium in the 70's I.E. after 1976.  Your first site STARTS with a 1974 conviction.

http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/article.php?did=412&scid=6

this worthless site actually backs up MY argument that the layers of protection to ensure that the wrong person isn't executed IS WORKING.

And Wikipedia is only for the lazy, considering how loose "facts" are played on there and how easy it is to change it...

In conclusion, I have no respect for scum that kill innocent people, and the world would be better off with less of them around.  Cowards, criminal "rights" activists may try to convince you that "innocent" people have "nearly" been put to death, the truth is, the system works to the best we can do it, and protecting murderers is a sad comment on today's America.
