Forgive me if this is old news - just thought a few of the tidbits were interesting.

Fury warriors dual-wielding 2-handers?  Craziness.

Talent trees for pets? about time, might use my hunter for something other than a bank. ( I only leveled him to 70 since he was my first character I got to 60 ;p and first to 70 lol)

Looks like druids are getting a Flash heal as well called nourish along with an OOC rez.

It actually sounds like a lot of the changes they are making to the classes are a way of making them all basically the same, and it is very obvious most of these changes are related to the arena rather than to make the classes more unique.

Ive just read they are removing shot rotations for hunters as well, wtf? its the only thing that differenciates a rubbish hunter from a good one ><

Could this be like the infamous SWG NGE?

I haven't read the changes, but i'll do it tomorrow.

Yeah, I thought the shaman changes were interesting.  Give them a polymorph spell and combine a handful of their totems so that one totem does multiple things.  Wonder what the shaman community thinks about that.

Not really a surprise considering half the friggin' design team used to be warriors in their raid guilds in EQ :).

The Shaman changes are by far the biggest. Totems affecting the entire raid is huge in itself but combining totems is mega huge. The change to Windfury is just icing on the cake. No longer will I have Rogues and Hunters asking me to drop Grace of Air while at the same time Warriors asking me to drop WF.

Pet talents is very interesting. But I have to wonder what Blizzard will do about the BM talents that affect your pet. Having half the BM tree enhancing your pet is kinda dumb when they should now be in the pet talent trees. We will see I guess.

All good stuff for all classes. Definitely a rarity.

Dual wielding 2h is the stupidest idea ever. Even if it's not OP, it's just insanely stupid to the max. The point of a 2h is needing both hands to use it.

BTW, I bet Mr. Tom Chilton (Kalgan) came up with this brilliant idea.

Actually, the idea isn't new in WoW. D&D had something similar with one of it's talents (think it was called Monkey Grip). I suspect it appears in other games as well.

As for the proposed hunter changes - does anyone else dislike the idea of getting rid of auto-shot clipping? Ok - it screwed people with poor latency - but really, timing shots correctly was one of the things that made hunters interesting to play (particularly if you didn't use a macro). After this change I'm worried that they will just be easy mode shot spamming machines, using the same skills over and over (cf mages and locks).
