Ok so I checked around after hearing my friend complain about the performence of this game.

He said he had exeeded the recommended requirements for this game, and should have been able to play on max graphics: this was not the case at all.

When I searched the internet, an Idea came to me, and yes my friend had a 2.2Ghz  QUAD-CORE.

Now for everyone having this problem: this game uses TWO cores.

And, for reminded, the recommended specs for your processor is 2.4 Ghz Core2Duo.

So even if you have a Quad-core, it will do you no good if you dont have at least 2.4 Ghz per core.

Also for the people using the old AM2 cores (not AM2+), remember these cores perform around 10-20% less then Core2Duo, so calculate the specs with it.

Now for the old intel dual cores, remember to calculate the 30-40% performence loss in comparison to Core2Duo.

Thats it for the most familiar cores, if anyone wants to know how their cores perform in comparison with Core2Duo, ask or check on the web. (should be on there somewhere)

The stock price is directly affected by the subscriptions this game has. However, funcom are liars. They lie through their teeth to get more investors, I hope the IRS get them on this one. Because they're such scum bags, I cancelled.

THere is not one shred of fact in this entire post.

But anyways, just posted this in case there was someone else having the same problem and was cursing this game because of it :D

<Mod edit> You do realize that games do NOT take advantage of quad-cores... none at all.
 

That's why people buy a $200 E8400 clocked at 3ghz. Since it performs better than a Q6600 clocked at 2.4ghz.
 

A quad-core is only needed if you do multitasking.  I got myself a Q9450 and overclocked it to 3.6ghz and I don't get nearly as much FPS as my friends E8400 clocked at 4.3ghz. But I love having the extra 2 cores as I do multitask quite often.
 

Nothing you said is new to anyone. Not to mention games are reliant upon VIDEO CARDS more so than CPU's. So having a 2.2ghz quad core is actually LESS than their recommended requirements of a 2.4ghz dual core... not higher.
