Someone got it completely right. Diablo is one of the oldest HACK AND SLASH games that's still around Diablo III will be another hack and slash game. Because diablo genre is all about killing lots of monsters and klicking lots of times repetetive. so yeah.. It's not a mmo, not a rpg. So why are we having this discussion again?
And for your information, im obsessed with the diablo series. No negative tones about diablo whatsoever in my post. |

So you're saying these kids who wrote some silly articles on gaming sites that consider KOTOR to be the first RPG with good/bad side have a valuable opinion? RPG needs more than just a character development, otherwise Tropico or Sims would be RPG too. |

So again. Where's the roleplay in Diablo series?
You and your friends battle through hordes of enemies, painting the (insert area of choice) with blood. There is a story behind it. But it's nothing you need to know when playing. Because you won't roleplay nor "live in your character" Heck, i have yet to see Rp people in Diablo2 XD
Ive played Diablo since the first game came out. I think i know more than kiddies on the net saying it's a "rpg" sure, blizzard calls it a "action rpg" >>; Just to make it sound more apealing than Hack and slash game xD; |

I dont really care if diablo is on mmorpg or not, its just so many people seems to hate blizzard, it pisses me off. and thats the reason most of you dont want to see diablo 3 featured on mmorpg.
