The folks at Codemasters have been kind enough to provide us with these six new screenshots from their upcoming MMORPG Jumpgate Evolution. Check out all six here. |

Nice,Big purdy and shiny. What more could a space fairing man want. Oh yeah,Havent seen any avatar pitures socializing in a space station yet.So I preaty much take it that its not gonna happen. Which Still doesnt meen that your game wont be quite good.maybe not just great.

Well I really hope so, otherwise we will get another EVE at our hands *sigh* Plus the fact that EVE Online is gonna come with 'Ambulation' this year that actually will introduce real avatars into the game! And also since Trinity expansion, EVE Online graphics look better to me now. Don't say these graphics are bad. But if they don't come with real avatars and able to walk on space stations (or maybe even planets), then it's another minus for JumpGate Im afraid :( Im getting tired of staring at pods and ships all the time :P Cheers |

Except that they don't need walking avatars as the space combat is actually *fun*. You control your vehicle with a joystick or keyboard/mouse(or a mix). With joystick it's mostly like the wingcommander games, with a twist of realism. Of couse everybody always want(or ask) for actual avatars, and it could be cool, but this game is about space fighter combat. It does what they want and it does it great, and that is how it will stand out in the crowd. |
