I am a researcher working in conjunction will Dr. Dan Florell and his research team at Eastern Kentucky University. I am conducting a study on MMORPG game usage. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire covering the various aspects of your online gaming experience. Your participation should take no longer than 30 minutes.

Participation is voluntary and you have the right to refuse to answer any question or withdraw from the study at any time without giving prior notice. Your responses will be completely anonymous. After you complete the session you will be given an explanation of the study. If you would like to know the results of this study you may e-mail me at clyde_jamison1@eku.edu

If this is a university study, why isn't it hosted on one of your universities servers?  Is there something official to backup your claim?

Is this another one of those game addiction surveys?  It looks like it.

What kind of survey is this? The first question is "Have you ever masturbated while playing and MMORPG?"

I assure you that this is an official University Survey. We are using Surveymonkey.com because EKU has an account. This survey has multiple variables since it is an exploratory study some can be viewed as negative and other positive.

Um...I think you picked the wrong survey.  I just completed it and there certainly was not any question about Masturbation.

Does take about 20 minutes though.

This questionaire doesn't have the best options..Like what if I don't care about the ammount spent on a video game? Why would the price affect how much I would play the game AFTER I baught it? Unless you are trying to figure out if people feel the need to play if they pay more for it? or if it is given by a "distant relative"?

Oh man....if you dont like the questions...dont do it!  Its not compulsary, the poor guy just stuck the thread up so people may want to fill it in for his study.  I don't think its meant to be discussed that much...do it...don't do it....whatever.

Just saying, the point of a questionaire is to gather information. And that one won't be doing much useful gathering. Just trying to help out the guy by pointing questions he might want to rethink or to add to really gather what he is looking for. Not trying to bash.

I hate MMO researches. Jesus christ people, actually go out and ask people or contact them.

Schools are useless nowadays.
