Seriously, to all the whiners out there you really need to get a move on, and actually accept that there ARE plenty of people enjoying the game despite all issues - which I don't really find that major.

You bought the game, you signed an agreement, you didn't like it. Is that Funcom's fault? No.

So, find a game to your liking or do something else.

AoC is interesting in that it has something both for the haters and the lovers, but focusing on the dislikes only wont make you want to play the game any more...

 like with a lot of stuff if it broke you can send it back but .once you bought the game your stuck with just another drinks mat

... lifted the money from people in playing a bunch of crap and still .... you want to defend it???

How about those stupid enough to have invested 400 to 800 dollars to upgrade their computers with the result of having an end game battle at 5 FPS with a complete broken siege system?

Just HOW much WORSE a computer game must be developped before you think about us the normal working heroes who actualy pay for unfinshed games ???

Ok so you think the game is crap, that's YOUR opinion.

Try accepting that other players might not agree with you on that? To me the game isn't crap even in it's current state, I happen to enjoy my AoC experience alot!

And as for those "stupid" enough to invest in a better rig - I was planning to do the same thing, but was "smart" enough to try the game before I made a decision about upgrading my machine.

So "stupid" gets what "stupid" deserves.

If you sign an agreement then how is that Funcom's fault you didn't like it? I don't get that.

What I do get is that I enjoy the game, and instead of bitching back and forth on some forum I'm gonna go play it instead.

The thing is, the promised us a lot of stuff that we simply didnt get. I'm pretty sure most of us wouldn't have signed if the deal was transparent and honest. I for sure would not. Some might argue that $50 or whatever it costed is a minor expense and not worth the fuss, but I can't agree there either. If this had been a MISTAKE on Funcom's side then I wouldn't care much. I've wasted more cash on worse crap before. What pisses ME off, and probably many others is that this is obviously so fiendishly calculated by Funcom. They KNEW the game was in a horrible shape, they KNEW people would buy it if they could just keep it's flaws under wraps. Why else is Gestapo moderating the official forums, totally keeping anyone with a different opinion from voicing it?

Buying Age of Conan was the first time in my life that I felt cheated on my money buying a game.

There's a difference between a sucky game that works and a sucky game that doesn't work, and it's completely known to the publisher, and they still advertise it as ZOMG TEH UBBER!!!11 The former is just a bad investment which I can shrug off, the latter is a fraud.

another victim of FC, and a blind one too! My friend i am not a sucker because i have the logic to stop play AoC because i didn' t get what i was promised. Who is the sucker? Me or you?

I miss the AoC forums.  :(   So much fun!
