Wondering how much of the game can you solo if you wish? Do you HAVE to group up to be able to level and such? I have never play an EQ game really I bought this game when it came out but didn't stick with it and only played maybe 30 mins lol.

So I have 60 days free. I assume all I do is DL the launcher and DL the game from them correct? I had the beta thing back in 04' and haven't played since. Anyway it says I have all this.

  • Entitlement: Auction Beta
  • Entitlement: Desert of Flames + In-Game Item: Genie Bottle
  • Entitlement: Echoes of Faydwer
  • Entitlement: Kingdom of Sky
  • Entitlement: Rise of Kunark
  • Entitlement: The Bloodline Chronicles
  • Entitlement: The Fallen Dynasty
  • Entitlement: The Splitpaw Saga
  • In-Game Item: Cloak of the Void (requires The Shadow Odyssey)
  • In-Game Item: Heritage
  • In-Game Item: Journeyman Boots
  • In-Game Item: Mysterious Shard
  • In-Game Item: Ring of T'Haen
  • In-Game Item: Talking Statues
  • In-Game Items: EQII Living Legacy Promo Items

So after the trial ends do I need to buy all the games or whatever or just subscribe?

Wizards First Rule: People are Stupid.

I played for about a month, 2 years ago and gave up. Wasnt what i was looking for at the time. About a month ago i decided to resub, since i wasnt happy in AoC. I'm having a great time now, about 75% solo and having no problems leveling. I'm a melee oriented Mystic, dont really know how the other classes fair solo, but i do see lots of solo and small groups around so i guess everyone can. Good luck and hope you have fun.

Well dling through launcher now. I forgot I even had an account. I logged in under my old stuff (they still allowed 6 character log in passwords since my password was still the same lol) So I am getitng the game now through launcher. But kind of confused I guess all I do is long in when it is done update all that.

But when it is over if I like it what do I do subscribe or hows does this work? If your an old customer do they just give you the old expansions and such to bring you back?

Ah ok I guess I saw yeah The Living Legacy entitles you to all the titles as long as you become a paid subscriber. So I guess for $15 I can buy them lol. Kind of funny I only had a trial account from 04' but I guess this was for everyone who had accounts that werent active up to that date.

In terms of soloing, you can definitely solo from 1-80 if that's what you want, though it will depend what class you choose - some are better than others. EQ2 is a group game and there's always tons of groups to go to dungeons, etc, but it's very solo-approachable and is getting more so every day. They have been making a major push over the last year or so to make the game more solo-friendly.
