Go ahead and warn or ban me. not like it hasnt happened before. |
Well I thought I would for warn people thinking of buying.(Or people who just want to vent about there experiences with this shitty game). This game when i first started playing was awesome. I loved it, and played nonstop. Every patch day at first felt great... YAY FIXES!!!!! Then they started getting down to the balancing. Giving classes "buffs" YAY everyone thought their broken classes would actually work. What actually would happen was ur broken class got broken more your underpowered class got nerfed more and ur OP class got stronger.
This is a warning to all to not trust Failcom at all in the future and let the company rot. They promised so much, and delivered so little. I feel so aggrevated i actually stuck up for them at first, and i now realize i shouldnt have. So my warning to all who are about to play this or are thinking about it.... Dont. save your money for something else. Im not sayin it was a horrible game i mean shit look at the Graphics. THERE GREAT. But Failcom isnt fixing their game with every patch. There breaking it and taking the game into a completely different path as set before. Basically the only thing going for this game is its Graphics.
So in final dont be deceived by Gaute, Failcom, or anyone who has anything to do with them.
I just needed to get that out... thanx for reading. |

Did you really belive that a game can be fixed in 1 month ? You do realise that Funcom is now throwing out content that has no testing and is bound to have more bugs and problems than what currently in the game. Alchemy broken this patch ... Really... Get a grip guys. This one wont be fixed any time soon. And new guys wondering if they should buy - No... stay away - far far away if you want to see decent longterm MMOs coming out instead of moneyleaching software that should be named hype.exe. |

make sure to take your copy of AoC back for a full refund. Say that the game does not have all the features promised on the box and those features are what you bought the game for. You are sure to get your refund, as I did. It's blatant false/deceptive advertising and they have to refund. |

Good luck getting the refund as some managers are sure to give it to you, but the advertising on the box is put out by Funcom. Complaints against false advertising goes against Funcom not the retailer. You stand a 50/50 chance of getting laughed at or getting a refund depending on the manager of the store. They don't have to refund you anything as all of your complaints go to Funcom. |

Yep i too thought you couldn t get a refund on a MMO. A friend of mine is the manager of EB games in town and he admitted to me that quite a few were brought back and they had to honor it. He said it was a first in MMOs that he seen or can remember, in his 6 years there. |

Actually right now Gamestop/EB is accepting returns on AoC so long as it was purchased/returned within 30 days and contains the CD key. They started accepting returns on MMOs back with Vanguard due to customer complaints. The returned games are sent back to Funcom and the keys will be deactivated.
