In my survey I asked them if they know anyone from the band Turbonegro, a Norwegian band. From the same city that Funcom is at, Oslo. Unfortunately I haven't received an answer yet.

I think there were beta testers doing their job, the real question is this: What was FunCom even THINKING?

Some of these things were so obvious that one wouldn't need a tester to point them out, you just needed common sense.

Well, there are 'Testers' and 'Tasters', with all the Hype AoC got a lot more 'Tasters' than 'Testers'

We were testing what they gave us. We gave them feedback and waited for it to be looked into, which most times it never was.

When we asked about testing PvP and sieging, we were given small technical tests like once a month for PvP.

What we did get an abundance of was over zealous fans on the beta forums following the lead of the devs when they side stepped questions or totally dodged topics while making those who posted concerns look stupid.

It was a fun beta experience...

I've never had problems with SOE, Funcom has failed me countless times.

 

soe killed eq and swg

eq2 came out a flop took them two years to fix it

vanguard came out last year and  it is still unfinished

potbs....flop and they are doing nothing about it...

Ya know its not Funcom specific, SOE is just the same, but maybe they cosider to simply ANSWER to people on the FORUMS, PAYING CUSTOMERS. There are PLENTY of things ppl say there.

It's a good thing Funcom did send out a survey.  The opportunity to explicitly describe how they failed in a metered and accountable fasion is a good thing. 

I built a new PC to play AoC, but I was going to build a new PC anyways.  Win - Win !!

They have impressed me with the addressing of critical issues and I think they will use this to get their priorities in a better order.  If 90% complain about end game then they will focus on that before fixing say crafting where maybe 10% complain. 

I would say to potential subscribers...give it 3 months and see how the AoC subscribers  feel.
