1UP Battle Gameplay Trailer

Graphics look fine but that gameplay doesn't seem very fluent . Didn't seem they used normal attacks, just waiting for skills to recharge just to spam it again. Though it is in beta so always room for improvement right ?

The Marauder's tentacles look awesome.

Always nice to see some more Shaman footage as well.

EDIT: Saint, keep in mind this is probably the people's first time playing. They are not very confident of what the skills do, or how to play the class effectively more or less. Of course they are just going to spam the skills they know do a good job of killing things, and not really experiment with what the class has.

yea you can see he has other spells he could be casting. he is jsut casting the same 3 over and over. looks liek he isn't healign at all and jsut doing damage, so he is only using half of his spells as a shaman.

What I see there is a very ugly caster with infinite mana spamings 2 things.

Cant really tell whats going on much but both characters and npcs there look terrible.

Also the gameplay looks very static which I hate.

The earlier video I saw not long ago with a melee  char that looked good at least but he also kept doing 2-3 things only and gameplay still looked static.

I wanna try the game cause I think it will release sooner then Aion ( if they dont push it back again) but from what I saw so far Im not so happy.

Cant say about the rest but the uglyness of the characters and the not so fluent gameplay ruins it for me.

Also imerssion is important and what music I heard isnt that nice which is important.

Time will tell..

All the standing around and the slowness of a DPS melee classes regular attack conserve me. Marauders are suppose to be bezerking blood crazed barbarians insanely tearing away at their enemiues, not hit them once stand straight up, hit them again a few seconds later.

he had to cast 1 or 2 because the jelousy thing resets like 1-2 times so somethign was going on. But yeah looks like just spamming a few things, duno if its the player or the lvl or just because its crappy NPC's.

I will say however the Marauder looks even more bad ass, not just the moves but armor in general.

It looked more to me like a player who was just focused on playing the game at the moment.

  Well, it is certainly is going to be a colorful game.  Lots of bright blue, green and pink effects going on there.  As I recall , in another video I saw colorful trails coming off a sword or ax a guy was swinging.  Really puts me in mind of an korean F2P game with all the bright colorful effects.

  Meh, I'm sure it can be turned off in the settings.

Yes, because games like Age of Conan looked absolutely perfect half a year before launch.

I will be happy with thoes graphics if I can actually turn them down that low at launch. One good thing about being poor. I have always played with graphics on medium or even low (to pvp) so I am used to it. Guess it got me looking at gameplay more than anything else. Not to mention you can look at that video then look at some more recent ones (including ones from baltimore gameday) and see the client they used to play on at 1up is extreemly old, possibly even alpha lol.

Ehhhhh.... you wont really get the feeling of the game by just watching all those low quality videos the only way to feel how awesome Warhammer Online is... that is to play it.. :)

tried it at dreamhack summer 08 and trust me it fucking rocked ass.

looks so bad to the slow speed of the combat to the textures and the animations.

I know man the sound effects are soooo horrible and annoying.

It''s not even warhammer anymore and theres no gore just flashy lights.

From a beta tester's perspective this video is horrible.  But thats mainly due to the players IN the video and the low resolution of the recorded video...its obvious the video makers haven't been playing for long.   I really wish people who make these videos that aren't NDA breaking would atleast video someone playing thats had their hands on the game longer. 

 This is not how it looks when you play with people that have been playing for more than a half hour or so.

btw content complainers..alot of the art and especially the sound is all place holders.   The lighting engine like the dev's have said multiple times is not fully implemented (which is true), not all the maps have lighting even calculated, they have low res everything because they are NOT testing the art content.  They're only testing the game play theyv'e said this openly dozens of times I dont understand why some of you continue to complain over something thats not part of the client download.   I'm glad the full version of the art and sound isn't in ... the files are already HUGE enough when downloading a new client.

Yeo you are bang on. When you actually play the game it is truly amazing. These videos don t do it justice at all.

I hope you guys are right about the sound content still being held off/developed because it does sound rather "old school".
