Aion

This is to be used as more of an informative thread but im going to admit it is also for my self benefit.

Im a new player looking to buy Aion, What one feature do you think sets this game apart from the crowd right now.

Please try not to duplicate each other, and make this thread big so other people like me that have the same question can see what this game has to offer.

Post anything from Screenshots to videos to interviews to prove your point and show me what sets this game apart.

Nobody knows what sets it apart unless you play the beta or it releases.  From all the screenshots and videos it looks like a good game, but then so did Aoc with all the hype, screenshots and videos mean nothing untill you actually play the game.  The one thing i cantr stand about it though is the manga looking characters which I cant stand and the insanely large dmg numbers which all asian mmos have and the insanely large wepaons they have in all their games.

Well check this video that i think its from 2006 and see how nice and smooth Aion was in alpha stage.

it shows both somem pve, pvp and some boss i think.

then imagine how nice it will be at release.

and Aion isnt all about awesome graphics and music, it will be about complex, polished, well implemented gameplay, story and immersion.

Big difference: Koreans who WERE in beta did the leaking. Not the company itself.

You can only think of so much innovative ideas without pulling ridiculous stuff (cloning system anyone?)

If anything, i think the overall animation and graphical quality will stand out.

Well , there is a big difference and let me tell you why.

In AoC we saw only what devs wanted to show us. They released THIER videos and screens while in Aion we already have over 300 players video over the internet from CBT 1 and CBT 2 because of the NDA not being forced as in other game .

NcSoft want us to actualy see how Aion looks like from different points of view and not only from their videos and screens.

Hence , back to topic. OP please see the FAQ list from this thread http://mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/253/view/forums/thread/184958 .It has alot of infos from the begining untill now ( i guess). It's from AionSource which is one of the best community out there with many great infos. You can also check their website aionsource.com .
