I think after today this game takes the same way that both FoM, Vanguard and Dark n Light took.
And a thought, what about all those aromors they promised us,

Really cool looking armors, take a look at the link and you mabe understand what we are up against.

Hey its not me rolling the stats out. Its official and a reality.  People go on about how bad AoC is and how there are so many MMO's out there better than it.  I would like to see a few names listed here rather than hide behind the game your playing.

 

 

 

 

 

There are no offcial sales stats yet, they shipped 1 million, they have only sold half of them if you believe Funcom. Just because they banged out 1 million copys in factory doesnt mean its successfull.

I've heard a lot of complaining about the armor have little difference in appearence. The game looks interesting, but that's pretty boring armor if that's all you get from 10-80.

Love that picture. It's the vendor-buyable white quality armor.

Guys, i'm not playing AoC *yet* because i've learned early adopters of MMOs usually get screwed. I'm betting it isn't as bad as all that. Let the dust settle for a few months and give it another go.

necros got a small nerf, but what i heared from the guild necro it did not affect him that much in pve soloing. maybe it has bigegr effects on pvp but in pve he was still soloing big grops of mobs well above his level (maybe a bit less than before but still more than my barbarian).

So yes necro was very op in soloing and they reduced it a bit but he still does very well in pve.

You MUST be joking!!! I cant do sh.. with my necro!! More pets, but do less damage and our spells that were very weak are even more weak!! Pathethic!!!!!

You make it sound like green, blue armors are any different. I hate to break it to you but they don't.

There are name set like Vanir set, Pict set that looks different, some blues from instance bosses look different, but you only run across those once in a blue moon. And who use those anyway, they have worse stat an the green armors at the same level. You can wear armor just for the look but they are not that many. There are only about 4 - 5 sets found in the game right now for all level.

You can see it for yourself. Just go to thunder river, keshatta and see for your self what high level looks like. Oh yeah, they look exactly like they were when they are 20, 30.

When Funcom talked about 1500 sets of armor. They are probably talking about NPC armors, heheheh. NPC in this game has a lot more armor varieties than players, by a huge margin. Standing next to NPC, you just look ugly and stupid.

Considering the last MMO I truly invested time into was Pre-Cu SWG . Armor really dosen't mean a damn thing to me. Everyone in the entire game aside from Jedi looked exactly the same , We all looked like Robocop !

I also agree with the others who have said they prefer the more down to earth look of FC's armor designs.I just hope by the time I reach 50 they have some new content in , But we all know how that goes with MMo's in the early stages.
