lol? Damage control at work?

Atm Aion looks like Duke Nukem Forever.

Why would people wait for a game that was supposed to come out 3 years ago?

By the time this gets released it's probably 2010.

Wow dude, if you're so against and mad at this game, why don't you just leave these forums and go find another game that is coming out sooner. I for one would wait 2 years for an mmo that is perfect.

Just quit your QQin.

This is the most stupidest topic yet, not a chance of it being shutdown. It allready has a big publisher (NCsoft) and a big budget...

I have to agree.

It has already been said by closed beta testers that the game is playable. From what I understand many thought it could already be released.

NC never gave a definite date on release. All they said was "we hope to beta/release by 'x'" date.

Given the amount of money put in as well as NC being a very large company with deeper pockets than small devs AND the fact that they need another large scale mmo to hit the market, it seems that Aion will most definitely be released.

Add to that that they hired a North American CM recently and I think we are ok.

Lee made known to the company’s foreign investors that “the Lineage 3 team has been reset”. The decision was made after “5 days of intense meeting and discussion”, during which it was concluded that the project lead Yonghyun Park(Lineage 3’s Project Manager) would be dismissed and the project itself put on hold. “We will bring together a new team for the project and get it back on track as soon as possible” said Lee, “Aion and other projects will not be affected by this in any way.” An employee at NCsoft added that they are “not sure if the designers that were working on Lineage 3 will remain with the project or if they will be moved to other projects.”

O geez. Did you know what happened with the source code of L3 ? And they didn't even started for good to work at L3 and you are stating that it's vaporware?

They started or they will start to work this year at L3 so again , can you PLEASE leave us alone? :)

Serious , try playing tetris or solitaire , it will make you feel better ( I hope ) :)

Exactly.

Waterlily: you look at surfacy things a bit too much. Yes, the L3 team was reset. But you are not looking at the "why". That there was a source code leak, that they fired one of the head people, that others quit over this and they made the decision to start again as it looks like they don't want another repeat of L2 with a source code leak.

Aion first appeared in 2006. I think we are doing ok. You worry too much and by comparing it to Duke Nukem you seem to be over reaching. As I said above, closed beta players have played it and have said that it is playable. Given the investment there is no reason to NOT release it.

The other notion is the split between EU and US servers and no support planned to be able to play on both.

I'm starting to think Aion will have Asian support but will become vaporware in the US/EU.

This game gets pushed back again and again and there is still 0 support for a EU/US beta while every other MMO is being released, this is becoming a joke.

Áion has not been pushed back since there was never release date announced to begin with. You should stop looking at fansites and retail websites for release dates when they haven't been announced yet.

Looking forward to:
The Agency, DC Universe, Aion

Ok, I just hope it comes out. And I'm really not trying to stir up trouble. I wanted to play L3 and people waited so long, only to be dissapointed,..

Aion should be good when it does come out. Sorry, I hope it has a good release like anyone else cause it looks great so far, but so did L3. Lol sorry.

<3.
