  The reality is all the "naysayers" are always finding ways to trash this game. First they said AOC's launch will be comparable to that of Vanguard. And what happened? AOC had one of the smoothest launches in mmorpg history(even better than that of WoW: wowriot.gameriot.com/blogs/Epidemic-Obesity/Age-of-Conan-Poised-to-Dominate-WoW/).  FUNcom delivers.

GET OVER IT. AOC is a good fun game. Funcom has delivered so far as I am concerned, and AOC will only get better with time. Don't like it? Good, go back to WoW or spend your money on  WoW recreated under the name of "WarHammer".  Either way you not playing = less drama and more bandwith for the rest of us (Win- Win situation).

Of course it's all relative to personal taste and the amount of shine, bling bling (polish).

Not that I dislike AoC (or WAR for that matter, I hope both are successful), but FC has promised a lot already. If they delivered all that they promised at launch, we wouldn't be having all these issues now.

If they deliver all that they promise this time, maybe they'll be alot more successful now, but they'd be much more prosperous if they promised honestly in the first place. That's down the pooper at this point. They may have made a good amount of box sales, but whether or not they keep the flow going and subscriptions at a steady pace is questionable at this point... though I hope they pull through.

Why do people flame against a game with very unique features when they themselves are screaming superiority about a game that they haven't even gotten close to playing yet?  I played AoC for two characters to lvl 80 and I find it hell-o fun.  I am very dissapointed in Funcom for releasing a half-broken game, but if the unbroken part I did play was "hell-o fun" then I can't wait until the whole thing is fixed!  Even then they announced that WAR's combat was going to be right-click auto-attack like WoW (not saying that they are the same thing, just noticable similarities).  so please stop bitching, both of you, and also stop pretending your some englishman by saying "cheers" after all of your posts, its annoying.

What 20 man raids?  I never said i knew about aoc siege, ive seen videos enough of the siege where even the peopel saying it with 20-30 people on screen caused etween 2-5 fps.

Mate, like anything you say is serious, how many times you been banned from here? You said spellweaving was not in for launch, it was. Siege battles are happening with bugs, yes bugs. If you take a look here:  http://www.gamespot.com/features/6192732/index.html?part=rss&tag=gs_features&subj=6192732  harware performance guide, its quite obvious when there is a siege battle frame rates will drop, just like on shadowbane and Daoc. Fraps takes off 9 fps when not in use on my system. Even the LoTD guy who made the video says experienced no where near as much lag as the other guild, and was very playable, ableit the bugs.

You bashed the game from 3 months back, you would never buy the retail version, said so yourself. You have never played the retail version, you beta tested tortage for 2 weeks thats its.

Please stop dribbling and foaming at the mouth and move on. You came here to bash the game, and you have just beta experience with it, mate move on, wipe the foam from your mouth and take your crap elsewhere.

If Funcom can fix the game up properly in the next few months, it will make sieges very enjoyable. They have a headstart of other games coming out in the fall with sieges who will have growing pains too. Ball is in there court but for now its playable and fun even with the bugs.

Since when in an MMO do you have to get close to max level to experience "the real game"? Are you saying that sub level 80 the game is nothing real? Do the same mechanics not apply? Why should anyone have to trudge through 90% of a game to get to the actual game? A game is the same from 1-max with slight advancements along the way. If a game is crap in the first 50+ levels and then golden in its prime max level, thats total BS. Thats like being forced to watch Golden Girls for 2 hours at a theater before seeing the feature you paid to see.

A 20 year prison sentence gets better once your in your final year as well. Just have to look past all the late night encounters with Bubba and not being able to sit for days on end...

 Never said the first levels are crap. They are actually part of the highlight of playing the game(see Tortage and the numerous instances/quests currently implemented)
