Warner Brothrs announce that they have been thinking of making one but are not positive yet.

IfI think i Harry Potter MMO will be really impressive. Classes could be death eater, wizard, transformer and you will learn spells as you prgress, you will be able to go into hogsmeade and hogwarts and diagon alley and duel in specific parts of the world like the forbidden forest, the thoughts go on and on.

What do you guys think?

I'm glad to hear this simply because it means that BioWare's MMO is not Potter-related.

I don't have anything against the idea, really, and I can see it being a success with its target audience, I just expect better of BioWare.

So anyway, yes, good to know.

In my post it says nothing of it being created by Warner or any other big time developer. It was not meant to be some sort of unmasking of the great HP MMO... It was meerly to show that there is Hogwarts Online being created by fans, and maybe that's where some of the rumors of one being created have orginated... You misunderstood my post and did not read it throughly and have taken creative license over my topic...

     It made me really amazed when I heard the thoughts about HP MMORPG which has been disgussing by Warner Bros.Because this is what I have been expecting from developers to make it happen.

    In my opinion; a Harry Potter based MMORPG would be really amazing and awesome and it would not be such waste of time cause the main thing in MMORPGs is making spells, charms, getting together in groups ( I mean the guilds..) fighting and sort of things..you know and any piece of " Harry Potter " includes that kind of things..I mean the wands, the flying broomsticks, the spells, the teachers, the school...everything in HP is a good REASON to develope a MMORPG game..

     I wonder how it would be like to play it cause it would make us feel such we are making real spells..;)) Just think about it ..when you gain experiance in the game ..you would be able to do new spells..such "Reducto" or "Expecto Patronum." when you would not be able to do it at the first times of your Hogwarts School..

Whatever I write is not important...I just wanted to make you feel like how it would be like.It's a NEED I think..for HP fans at least..

Warner Bros. Interactive.  The producers that brought us Matrix Online.  That says it all, really.

Warner Bros is owned by Time Warner, so if there is a HP MMO, it will probably be made by Turbine.  Hopefully its way down the list behind a new Asheron's Call game.
