Think you aren't understanding me, after I finished OB, after I was level 20 (yah at the end of OB everyone became level 20 and left Tortage)and adventured aimlessly though multiple instances, and map sets of big valleys poor vegetation design and eye sore trees, I felt the same as the first day I logged into the game. And that reflects the games radar quote, for me.

At level 20 nothing made me feel compelled to do anything . and instancing in and out of cities is just rediculuosly poor game mechanics imo.

No, no it doesn't, because the only thing you've done was degrade me as well insult me, insteead of coming up with documentation to support your claims of the how well this game follows the lore. Even if this game followed the book lore, you would realize that all books are "BASED" on Robert E Howard's short stories which he wrote before he died of suicide at the age of 30.

the lore is acctually very accurate  within the  game  compared to the books. Your oppinion is your own but you are wrong about the lore part. Why do you argue a fact that you have no real knowledge about just to bash the game?

This sums up my feelings after 1 day of the open beta they had on Fileplanet. Think also hints that only people enjoying the game are people who's first game was WoW and is looking for something different.

I am enjoying the game currently, and I've been playing MMO's for 10 years. The way I do it is to play casually and not try to eat up all the content as fast as possible. I think what your post "hints" to is the fact that you are a power gamer.

Glad you aren't playing with me.

Though, I will admit there seems to be a dry up of content past lvl 40, but I just roll new characters when I get to that point.

Just to make something clear, fileplanet beta is capped at 13. you cannot leave tortage untill your 19-20, at least the time period that your both talking about.  So Solar could not have experianced anything 13+ unless he bought the game and played till 19 or 20 left tortage and went into one of the following cities.  Which based on his answers I highly doubt.  Solar if you played post 20 please tell me, which 20+ starting area did you land in? and what race were you?

I agree with you Solareus, but i have experience in the game up to 58. I found at 25+ i could literally care less to log in at all. I thought oh well i paid for it may as well get some use out of it. Each day i logged in later and played less. The game to me is very boring , repetitive, and mundane. I know alot won t agree but i know plenty that do. The quote is bang on with my feelings and i can t stand all these people attacking someone who legitamately expresses how they don t like the game. If it s a good review, comment, etc, people praise it and it s all ok, but to say you feel you don t like it based upon a review not glowing with their love for FC and AOC it s false, your comp sucks, etc etc. Bottom line is this game is not for everyone and it never will be, get used to it.

2-You said you done your research, you did it when? Before or after your claim about the lore in Age of Conan?

3-Solareus you were not able to let your ego down for one minute just to realize what you said about the lore is wrong (and yes the game express the lore very well) , this alone already show you will not read anything... do you need ? No, just dont try to use arguments you just dont know or understand.

4-If someone say you are wrong about something, and you can check any time why you are wrong, this is an insult??? You just dont know what is an insult or you are just trying to be annoying ...

5- There is no way to turn this discussion in a productive conversation, period.
