Just thought i'd share this with you. I'm hoping maybe late July early August? Guess i'll get my ToS up to 80 until then. Woot! I hope this game delivers where AoC failed to... I'm getting a bit disolusioned with the state of current MMO's

We are writing to you in reference to your recent order for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

It has come to our attention that some websites are reporting that play.com have sent out the beta access codes. Unfortunately this is incorrect, however we are due to send out our beta access codes soon and we estimate that they should be with you within 7-10 days. The Warhammer Online beta has yet to start and we will be sending the codes shortly so that they will be there in time for access to the beta when it opens.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and valued custom.

That doesnt mean anything? i have had my codes for 6 weeks from HMV in the box. Until you hear from the horse mouth then i wouldn't get your hopes up yet.

Yeah doesnt mean anything, I've had my beta codes since the day Pre-Orders were available.

Yep same here, open beta has been speculated to be around late mid to late August.  Again this is speculation.

This email does not mean squat. Open beta won't be for months.  This is what we've got:

Beta 2 (June, 1000 invites)

Beta 3 (Late June, July, August. up to 10,000 invited)

Open Beta (Early Sept: All CE Preorders)

Release : Everyone can play (Est. End Sept)

We are fast approaching Beta 3. This should be all the Boom folks.

Crap, if they launch the game in Sept., how am I supposed to balance Football with playing this?  Aaarrrgghhh!  Oh well, I'll find a way. :)

Yes this I know.  Perhaps I should say I remain skeptical that a high res client will see release.  They promise much higher settings for the visual pleasure but lighting won't help that much.
