Looks like that was posted on the 16th. The domain name is still showing as registered to Nevrax, but it's possible they turned over passwords etc. and the change in ownership of domain name is in the works.

But I see no reason to think this notice is anything but genuine.

Wow. I hope it is for real as well.

I wonder if our characters and accounts will have survived? Not that I mind starting over.

Let us Pray it comes back soon . I think the gaming community as a whole is in despirate need of a great sandbox MMO.  Ryzom was my first experience with this genre. After the servers went down I tried just about any MMO that I could get my hands on. Nothing, I mean nothing, even comes close to the adventure,freedom,lore and most of all the community of Ryzom. Maybe this time the company that owns it will at least try to advertise it. I hope to see all you great and not so great Kara and Kami soon.

Been stalking these forums for many many months now... I admit I played Ryzom for only a few months, but I agree it was the most unique and special game. With more content, it could have been the very best MMORPG ever.

I sincerely hope it's not a hijacked "joke", and it REALLY will be back. I'm definitely back in for a try if it's real!!
