An online global warming kids game that you won't believe. Strong words but once you see it you'll understand. This game is clearly aimed at kids and is called the "Greenhouse Calculator", it was put out by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and is subtitled "Find out when you should die". The instructions get right to the point by asking "How big of a greenhouse pig are you?" and then "When you are done click on (a skull and crossbones) to find out what age you should die at so you don't use more than your fair share of Earth's resources!" If you are somewhat green, it will come back at 30 or less. So their implication is we need to die now to save the planet, a simply evil concept to teach our children. This game is truly disgusting. Kids are already getting brainwashed in school and on TV that they're harming the planet simply by living. To flat out tell a child that for the good of the planet they shouldn't live past a certain age should be criminal. There are a lot of vulnerable kids out there that already have self-image problems, that may already be told by bullies or bad parents that they don't deserve to live. To have this reinforced and setup martyrdom in their minds is sickening. Greenhouse Calculator - PLEASE go here only if your self esteem is fully intact. These people are evil and no one should think they're worthless and should die for the good of the planet.

Wtf is wrong with some of you lot. You don't care about Global warming, fine. But posting some bulls*it about it's not true, who the hell are you kidding? It doesn't take a scientist to look at the carbon cycle and say hey wait a minute, the carbon cycles naturally sustains the carbon element within the environment. Obviously we look out the window with a pair of binoculars and see all the CO2 up there but surely the ridiculously large amount of CO2 emissions will cause a problem, no? It is true global warming has a lot of controversy but as said, there is that chance it will affect the future generations. Look what happened with hurricane Katrina. It was really nice how all those people had to suffer the trauma wasn't it, imagine what'd it be like if there were 5 hurricanes per one we have today. I'm not just taking about hurricanes, we're talking about floods and tsunamis as well, the whole nice package. So bleh all you want. |

Well, global warming is simply not happening. Worldwide there was a significant natural warming trend in the 1980’s and 1990’s as a Solar cycle peaked with lots of sunspots and solar flares. That ended in 1998 and now the Sun has gone quiet with fewer and fewer Sun spots, and the global temperatures have gone into decline. Earth has cooled for almost ten straight years. So, I ask, where’s the global warming? The cooling trend is so strong that recently the head of the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change had to acknowledge it. He speculated that nature has temporarily overwhelmed mankind’s warming and it may be ten years or so before the warming returns. Oh, really. We are supposed to be in a panic about man-made global warming and the whole thing takes a ten year break because of the lack of Sun spots. If this weren’t so serious, it would be laughable. Since the planet has actually been cooling in the last ten years it’s fun to watch global warming believers flail about trying to come up with new theories to explain what’s happening. Their favorite new word is “variability”, this is how they explain global cooling. It may well turn out that George W. Bush’s greatest service to the country won’t involve terrorism or Iraq at all, but his steadfast refusal to be buffaloed into joining the panicky consensus on global warming. NOTE: I edited this because of the link I provided. I found this by accident. Dont get me wrong, I am a great Bush supporter, but when I watched this video, I was rolling on the ground laughing.

Thats true to a extent Out. Whiles its true there are regional cold spots, the general polar tempatures continue to rise. The irony is as the poles warm, the cold water and air moves further south. General tempatures will remain erratic at best as the globe attempts to balance itself. Mind you our Co2 input has a impact on the whole process. As does the solar cycle. Volcanic activity cant be ignored either. Global warming aside, there are bigger issues. Sustainable clean water levels has been decreasing for the last century. Many of the nominal agricultural regions are slipping into useless levels. Area which frankly kept there citizen fed enough to keep them from revolting. Which ironically causes what? Oil disruptions. So whether we like it or not were going to need to cope with the changes and personally I think helping people beats killing them or allowing them to die. Mind you Id need to put some thought into that. Sometimes if you can balance a situation such that a region dies off but you can keep it from leaking into your borders, it is preferable. |

BTW Solar activity has been decreasing since the 60’s so it can’t be responsible for any of the warming we are currently seeing.

A few cooperate sponsored blogs like to cherry pick 1998 when they develop their trend lines, but if you do the math correctly the trend is still going up.

Global warming is BS, invented in 1988, that combines old myths including limits to growth, sustainability, the population growth time bomb, the depletion of resources, pollution, anti-Americanism and anti-corporate sentiment. Those that supported the old myths have joined forced into a new group called “Environmentalists. Some Quick Facts: Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not a pollutant, but a naturally occurring atmospheric substance. CO2 makes up .054% of the atmosphere. Volcanoes produce far more CO2 than humans. Animals produce more CO2 than volcanoes. Decaying vegetation produces more CO2 than animals The OCEANS produce more CO2 than vegetation, animals, volcanoes, and the puny, insignificant amount of CO2 humans produce. |
