How might it affect new  and experiienced players ?

that is for early pvp only if you gt involved with faction warfare other then that nothing new :) meaning if you gt into faction warfare other races can kill you in high sec space

200-man blobs.  In lowsec.  'Nuff said.

In regards to the person above me saying you can be killed by the opposing faction in highsec, if you're in your faction's highsec or your allied faction's highsec, then you don't have much to worry about - the NPC police will be beating the crap out of any enemy faction players that jump in.  Of course, the same goes for you if you go into the enemy faction's highsec - you'll get pounded by the Amarr/Caldari/Gallente/Minmatar/Your Mom's Navy.

Lowsec is where the truly free PvP between the factions happens.

For me as a new player Ir ead up about it meant to be bringing PVP to new players but no corps have joined upto it and really you have to join a corp to get fun out of the game because before them I was running boring agent missions and now I'm off in 0.0 helping them in small group PVP.... I know I'm not very effective and always die first in my frigate but they use me as bait and repay me for all the stuff I lost and i'm loving it, makes my heart beat sooooooooooo much more than anyother game.

So Yeh I think not being able to try it out because no corp wants to join upto it sucks and also as a new player do you know how long it takes to get standing for one of these factions? I done level 1 missions for 3 days non stop and I'm only 0.18 and I need 0.5 to join.

I just think as a tool to get new players into PVP I don't think it's worked for these 2 reasons.

1. Let me join a faction and a corp

2. Let me join a faction and then get up my standing with Caldari via PVP.

Tell me when doing lvl 1 PVP in a Frigate as part of factional warfare do people in bigger ships just camp low sec even more now? The would be really unfun specially seeing as you're limited to a frigate and obviously a command ship or heavy assault ship would eat you alive.

Were often doing 1vs1 at Frigates, without podkills in Hek (meet in belt, drop cargo/open cargo), just come and maybe, well meet.

And why the hell are there so many corporations advertising that they joined a faction and provide a basis for pvp with an industrial backbone on the official forums?
Or is everyone playing on another server like you, and this List is just not valid for yours?

Well it's just my experience in the game for the past 4/5 days and I don't visit official forums of a mmorpg.

for eve online please do check Official u got loads of INFO that u need to stick alive into the game

The new expansion has changed the game dramaticly.  For both new and old players.  It has gotten people to go to low sec space for some cheap t1 frigate/cruiser PvP combat.

As stated you should read the offical forum and all the feedback the players have given.

As an example of the new exciment :  a few days ago the normal combat was on going between the Caldari and Gallente militia.  When the Gallente was defeated, one of the departing Gallente called for help from his/her friends in a nullsec alliance who hotdropped 5 carriers into the system.  Long story short the T1 frigate/cruiser fleet destroyed 3 carriers.
