people moan and want all games to be f2p.

but it will never work. if you have ever played a f2p and dont want to pay you have no chance of getting anywhere in the game.

the game is so overpwerd by the people who buy cas shop items to boost there charecters that it forces you to pay awell (which then means its not a f2p)

so P2P is the only way to have a game balanced for everyone. no one is higer than anyone else just becuse they decide to spend a bit more money.

/agree

Supposedly F2P MMOGs which in reality end up costing more than P2P MMOGs fail because they destroy a basic tenet of earning your way within the confines of a virtual world. Real money does not exist in a virtual world and therefore should have no influence whatsoever.

thanks

Again, you're denying the existence of the secondary market. As if most people just payed their 10 bucks a month.

In p2p you have a minimum every month. The maximum depends on you, be it p2p or f2p.

It's those stupid people that can't control it and slap 200$/month on items and then Devs get more and more greedy and the game is ruined for anyone that doesn't want to go over 20$/month or something.

New generation UO anyone?

This topic is really stupid.

First of all, are you trying to say f2p is actually not free and "may" cost more than P2P? If this is what you want to say, thanks a lot we all knew that.

Secondly, not every f2p game earn your money from cash item shop, some are just that you can either choose to subscript or not, and if you subscript it grants you access to more place etc, and if you choose to subscript the monthly fee is a fixed amount, just like P2P games.

Thirdly, even if item shop f2p would cost more than P2P then so what? Its your choice for which game to play, and to pay or not, and how much to pay, some P2P games are more expensive than the other P2P as well.

And what is your definition for "the game works" or "the game is the way"?

If there is a game you don't like (no matter balance issue or what), it doesn't mean that it is not working, it only means that it does not suit you, and when there are certain amount of players in that game, it worked, at least for them, although not for you.

So what is the point for the discussion?

you dont even get my point at all

i said f2p games are not balanced. people who decide to spend lots of money are way more overpowerd than those who are not willing to spend money or no momey.

why does anyone want to play an unbalanced game??

Because P2P games can be unbalanced too, both in game unbalance or unbalance caused by real money, no game is perfect, so after all its the player's choice.

You are way wrong.  I've played many F2P games where I got over level 100 and was able to kick butt over people who payed for stuff.  You have to know what games to play and how to play them.  People who like P2P games have to justify paying for them, pretty sad.
