Being a CS Manager i can honestly say thats above average, and i'm in New Jersey.  We start at 20K a year.  At 12 bucks an hour that turns out to be about 23K a year.

I'm sure they get really good perks as well

You prolly lucky to get 7-8 an hour for McDonalds, and yes todeswulf i want to super size my order.

The Fairfax Area is a bedroom town for D.C. ; any job will get you 13 bucks an hour, diametrically  you won't see a one room apartment for under 1200 a month.  But you keep rolling with that big 20k a year.

Tell you what, try to grab a loan lock in some college time and come see me here http://www.gehealthcare.com/usen/einvite/careers.html I might be able to wrangle you a Junior Helpdesk position.

Pain is fear leaving the body..

I find it interesting after all the problems of customer service FunCom is having with AoC, that WAR posts this.

I can see Mark Jacobs saying, "Oh chit. we better get on this now.."

Actually Mythic has always had pretty decent support for their games.  At Mythic's worst, they are still far better than Funcom has ever been.

BTW Blizzard does not pay their CSR's much more and Orange County California is as expensive as the DC area.

Not everyone gets spoonfed jobs making premium pay. Posts like this make me wonder if this is why the unemployment rate is so high. Everyone thinking they're better than they actually are so they refuse to take a starting position. And how dare you insult someone's pay rate that lives in a place with a completely different cost of living. Get the stick out of your ass please, kthnx
