Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

amen to that, i hope im not playing the next CU/NGE game.

back on topic though i have really been enjoying VG.  i have a 16 bard and am now working on a druid and ranger just to get a feel for different playstyles and zones.

i stopped a coupla months ago.  while i had a decent rig the hitching and lag made the game unplayable for me.  there are still problems.  do not expect a completely polished game here, but its much more what a game experience is like at release than even AoC (which i like btw).  it just took them over a year to get there

AO's launch was quite terrible

but Shadowbane's launch is still king

I bought AoC and didn't like the game...i was looking for a 'new' MMO to play. I was playing WOW in the last 2 years and i was so bored...so after my disappointment with AoC i started browsing these forums looking for another MMO and guess what? I found Vanguard, bought it and now im having a great time with this game! So i have to say: thank u AoC! lol

I love AoC but I wouldn't mind shelfing it for two months while they add the stuff they mentioned to play Vanguard again. It's true, that the basic structure and vastness of Vanguard was always a top notch ideal. Now that I hear its been improved a ton, I may just play it!

I am very tempted to try this game. My only concern is that if the dungeons are the best part of the game and they are made for 2+ people, then if I am having trouble finding someone to quest with, I wont like the game. Unfortunately, most of my friends arent into these kind of games even though Im addicted forever. Any comments?

The in-game guild option list many guilds that are recruiting, most guild are very helpful with many players that have low lvl alts that I'm sure will be more than willing to help you out in the dungeons. So join a guild, it's the best way to go in Vanguard.
