Well..........I would hazard to guess that its mainly because....its not an MMORPG...?

Torak is 100% right.

It's a Fps game with RTS in it.. so no, it's not even close to a mmorpg in any way

and Hellgate London is a mmorpg? Where?....It because it not that important to the market, eventually maybe it will be listed, or not. They are tons of multiplayer(not massively) online listed on mmorpg, but not savage 2. When i saw Hellgate London listed i laugh my ass off, but hey..is their site. On the other side tons of other decent sites like mmorpg, decided not to listed Hellgate london, because it crapstastic, and it cannot even be called even a Multiplayer RPG..

So i toke the liberty to look again at the game lists.

Navyfield, lobby multiplayer game with chat, decent

Sword of the New World - single player game, with others in the same world lol, crazy concept.. some of you knoe it

To respect the owners of this great site, after all is the most important mmorpg portal, and has content, so they deserve it. Maybe it wasnt under their standards, because the game doesnt have a lobby, where u walk around with avatar or w/e. But dont come with that shit, that is not a mmorpg. Is not, it is a online rpg games as Navyfield, Hellgate London, Fury, Sword of Instanced Single Player w/e, etc

MMORPG = Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game

Do many people play it all at once? Is it an RPG? If yes, then it's a MMORPG! 

As long as you have one main character that you center the game around, then it's a RPG.

The difference between let's say... Diablo 2, wich is a RPG, and EvE online, wich is a MMORPG is the fact that even tho both games can be played by different players at once, on the internet, the number of players in a MMORPG is much greater than a regular RPG.

We have Multiplayer Online Games, or Online RPG Games, w/e which are games like Savage 2, Hellgate Crap, and others.

And we have Massive Multiplayer Online Games, with over 3k people on single server, world, realm (50-60k for EVE Online <3)

Also what you need to do is look at MMORPG.COM's definition of a MMO is.

Problem is games like Fury and Hellgate: London don't fit the description given by mmorpg.com, yet they're here.

I was sure Savage has no persistant elements, was I wrong ?
