UPDATE- Asknet has issued me a refund, and I shall be in game tonight after picking it up at bestbuy. I VERY much recommend the game to everyone on these boards. I just absolutely do not recommend buying the game from the funcom store. Also, best buy has the game on sale for 39.99 which is ten dollars cheaper than the official store.
On the 12th of last month I placed my order with the official funcom store for north america which is actually run by Asknet, INC. As of today I have received the following: no cd key, no retail box, and worst of all, no response from the asknet support staff. The only thing I have to show for the order is the receipt(thank god) and my pre-launch key. I played in pre-launch, but as of the 31st my account has been frozen and access to the official forums restricted. If they would tell me anything that would be great. Shipping was estimated to take "up to 2 to 3 weeks". That gives them till Thursday to even make that "up to 3 weeks". This may be an oversight on their part, so I am willing to give them some more time, but that still doesn't explain the lack of response. My credit card statement reflects the 53 dollar charge(game plus shipping) It may just be bad luck on my part, but if anyone else has experienced anything like this I recommend filling a complaint with the better business bureau by mid month if there is no resolution www.bbb.org . Simply look for Asknet INC of San Francisco, CA. If that gets no results perhaps legal action. As I am restricted from posting on the official forums, maybe someone could link this to their technical support forum for me. Which,not jumping to conclusions, would be a great way to keep people from complaining about issues such as this on the official forum.(restricting access from frozen members I mean) |

Might want to call your credit card company and reverse the sale as well. |

I'd wait 'till Thursday. If you don't get any sort of response by then or your game I'd cancel. |

well try to get your money back and buy it again from somewhere eles or something.
this is why i always order from Best Buy :) but even they can get you mad every once and awile
