How many instances do you need... Not only do you have to zone into building, or zone into villas do play single player quests and zone to go to anywhere in the world but.... You have to also zone to exact same spot right on top of your body when you are being res'ed. Why do you need loading of the instance when someone is ressing you right next to you at the same instance... Seamless world... no, Have you seen this before? ------------------------------------------------------------- Generating Content.... PofBS was the same way... you zone into a port, zone into a building, zone into a room... and their crafting tutorial was a joke. Zone into a room to talk to the trainer, then you have to go back to talk to the person outside, then go back to the person in the room again. Repeat that about 5 times... it got very old and very annoying. And PotBS didnt have the excuse of "well we have such amazing graphics we need to instance everything." |

But when i started playing more i found that it is actually pretty fun. Never play this game on low settings if possible. The graphics at that level is kinda a put off. I'de say stick with it until the guys at FUNCOM are done patching it up. And for god sake don't do anything to your retail box, the game may be stuck now, but when they finnally got teir 3 buildings up and seiges are in place you will be seeing people screaming bloody murder. |

Heh, when will people learn not to have an opinion about AoC other than "This game are teh pwn" I wonder? Obviously to speak anything but the highest of praise of the game will be met with Trolls wielding +3 Barbarian sword of flame.

Which is bad mechanics. Even in instancing games like guildwars, you don't expect to reload the instance when you are being ressed on the spot. My computer can also change instance fast running on 8800gt, doesn't mean it is not annoying. I get res in combat I want to get back right into the battle, instead I find myself going through the loading screen before going into battle. |

Yeah, the game is instance a lot. But i came to accept the fact of it. I don't want to compare this game to WOW anymore. I was so irritated witht he game so much at the beginning that i blowed a fused.
