they are fun to have

Dev's aren't putting 100% effort into their coding.  Too many bugs, and too many issues.  See below screenshot and look at the what petition reply script has to say.

What is the magical number that the MMO pundits always throw around...that if a game reaches and maintains 100k subs then it is a true success?

So you're saying AoC won't maintain even that paltry number?  When it goes over to the consoles it will easily gain that many I suspect, on top of the people who like the game and stick with it.  I personally don't but don't think for a second that it will fail.  It will be another Lotro I expect in terms of subs and will dig a niche in the console crowd since there really isn't much for them to choose from, they will eat this game up.

That was a good petition answer.... Very informative and good at showing different avenues of information. I understand why you hate a company that spread information around themselves while people wait for an answer... That is awful. Complete silence for 4 hours is sooo much better.

Good troll, back into your cave.

It should be thrown with great force"

I think the OP is just expressing their feeling of disappointment in Funcoms lack of attention to detail with the reference to the anarchy-online forums, from a AoC in game petition.

You have to admit, that is kind of sad they would let something SO obvious slip by their QA. Assuming they do QA.

The first 2 years of DAoC were the best 2 years in mmorpg history.

ive played it for a couple days now and so far its a pretty decent game. Ive also been beta testing a well know game thats due out this fall and Ill have to say its 200x better then AoC in its unfinished state. The character graifx and custimization  however in AoC is really good, but they could have done alot better on the interface and character controlls.

That shows that they are not stupid enough to invent the wheel two times. Although that they could eye through the text abit thorougher.

There is alot of similarites in the "chatsystem" (sorry I'm ignorant enough to not now what would be a correct definition) beetween Anarchy Online and Age of Conan. And while they shared the similarites I would suspect they also share the content of the scripts. As in this example the autoreply where it points to the Anarchy Online forums.

In that case the thread title, the body of the OP's post and the screenshot do not add up.
