Today i got this message from blizzard. I am concerned because once i log in they ask for all my account info and cd key and secret question answer.

Greetings!

You have been chosen to become a participant for our upcoming World of Warcraft expansion: Wrath of the Lich King!
The beta will commence in a month from now, and we are accepting applicants for the closed beta until August 9th.

However, if you are the original owner of your World of Warcraft account, you are granted a spot in the beta.
All you need to do is to confirm your account, but hurry!
Time is limited, and we have a selected amount of spots to fill for the beta testing period.

To accept the beta and confirm that you are the original owner of your account, you need to visit <link removed> and fill in your account information. It will take about 2-3 work days before you will receive any response.

Please do not share this website in any way. If you do, your account can and will be suspended.

Sincerely,

Blizzard Entertainment Inc
Account Administration Team

That looks nothing like the Burning Crusade beta invite I got back in the day. Best thing to do is forward it to Blizzard Support so they can either verify it or at least warn the community about a possible scam.

It's obviously a scam. Just mouseover the link in the OP.

Wouldn't you expect a link to go to the Blizzard site or worldofwarcraft.com site?

Imo the mods should delete this thread because some people might follow the link and enter in their details not knowing it was a scam..

Umm.. wouldn't they ask you log into the accounts section and then active it through that?

Not follow some embedded link in an email.
