My Aggro brings all the mobs to the yard. |
The best thing to come out of AoC's release (to me) is the fact that SOE is doing the Living Legacy in response to it. After leveling a few characters to the mid twenties in AoC I like so many others have a complete lack of interest in the game. I am not having any performance issues with AoC now, but the game just feels like it is missing something. I decided a month ago to completely dump my 3 70s on WoW and vowed never to go back to the game. I had been considering going back to EQ2 but was waiting to see how AoC was. And just when I had 110% decided that AoC was too lackluster to continue with low and behold SOE announced the two months free for returning players to EQ and EQ2. Tonight I decided to try out the new expansion content and all I can say is THANK YOU FUNCOM FOR PROMPTING SOE TO GIVE FREE GAME TIME!!!!!

Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his brother. |
I wouldn't thank Funcom, I would thank your staying power, and SOE will thank you for that too. I mean a couple of characters into the mid 20's ? Thats barely touching, if at all some of the most fun and interestings area's and aspects in AoC. But then again when your EQ2 content runs out, your always have 2/3rd's of AOC left to explore. Good luck. |

Yea, like what the hell does weak sauce EQ2 have over AoC? Don't they still have you taking forever to just cool your health/mana back up after a fight? |

I try to think, but nothing happens |
Originally posted by BlackswordsmWell let's see- -High level instances, raiding for better gear

-Much, much bigger zones
-More places to level, more quests to help you along with leveling
-Mounted combat actually WORKS in EQ2. The horses in AoC, while very realistic looking and cool, are buggy as hell right now.
-I can't remember a single, solitary quest in EQ2 that was bugged. Seriously. In AoC, have you tried the quest "Enter the Pyramid" yet? Or "The Wounded Child?"
I could go on for days but I wont, ive posted more today here than I have in the last 2 years. Because I am pretty disgusted with this game and since none of my friends play it, I have to rant to someone. |

Well EQ2 has also been out a TON longer then AoC, so it figures that it has lesss bugs and more content. |

Lokks like the game was released too soon, they should have tested and fixed more. Maybe that was because it was already delayed and they wanted to make money sooner. Still theres no excuse for so many bugs that i saw ppl complaining about and they might loose a lot of customers because of that. |

Originally posted by medaforLevel 1-20 ? Uhm... lets see.... Antonica, Commonlands, Greater Faydark, Neriak and the new starter zone in Kurnak. Thats 5 zones. Additionally all 5 zones are connected to 5 cities which also contain quests. Qeynos and Freeport additionally have sewers 3 level deep. Within those zones are the dungeons wailing caves, stronghold, crushbone keep and probably fallen gates. I d call this massive content and room to adventure and quests ;) You wont find any game with dungeons like wailign caves and crushbone keep. Its like with old sportscars... nobody crafts such beauty anymore...
Thats just for the records and the sake of truth. |

RMT = The death of MMOs as we know them. |
LOL! EQ2. You have any idea what a mess that game was when it was released?
