The makers of the upcoming MMORPG Rohan: Blood Feud have announced a great turn-out for their open beta which began on May 28th.

MMORPG.com is currently working to get Rohan listed on our Game List.

Orange County, Calif. – May 30, 2008 – Online PC game publisher YNK Interactive experienced an overwhelming amount of players as they began Open Beta testing of their massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Rohan: Blood Feud. “The initial turnout of Rohan: Blood Feud is an unexpected but great surprise,” said Jay Suh, COO of YNK Interactive. “We have more than doubled our servers since then, and our team has been working around the clock in order to give our players the experience they expect and deserve.”

Players from around the world participated in Rohan: Blood Feud’s open beta that began on May28th. Within the first few minutes, the game servers reached maximum capacity, leading the company to add another server within the first hour. Over the course of the following 36 hours, two more servers were added due to the continuing increase in demand. YNK Interactive reports that they will continue to add game servers during this testing period until there are enough tocomfortably and stably house the large population that has gathered to support the game. Funny, MMO's seem to be coming out of the woodwork these days.

I looked at the website and it seems to be a game heavily focused on pvp.  From the description it looks like when you die in pvp your opponent can loot items from you.  Anyone play this game that can confirm that?

Not much information on the game on the website.

lots of botting but gm's seem to be pretty good with the ban stick to em with community help to post locations and offenders names.  Can not give too much info as of yet though, only been at it a couple days.

The game is pretty generic so far from lvl1-15, do low lvl quests, kill x number of monsters at y location. Already there are some quests that are repeatable if you don't want to spend your crones(the game's online currency) on health and mana potions which you get for a reward and THEY ARE WORTH IT!

A function that is notable and stands out from other MMORPG's is the ability to recycle your old weapons, shields(if your class allows the use of them) and your armor to make them into more powerful and effective pieces of equipment, via. NPC's called Master Weaponsmith/Master Armorsmith. It's basically crafting really.

What happens if the equipment you just recycled or just received from a drop or quest reward requires you to be a certain lvl or in need of certain points in a certain stat? Just go to the NPC that could(and I mean 'could'.. Again, it's sorta like crafting) lower the lvl requirement of your newly aquired piece of armor, for a piece of course.

And I've heard that this game isn't new, yet I've never heard of this game until June 1st? I've heard that it's been 5 years old. Doesn;'t seem like a 5 year old game. :/

Anyhow, defintiely a F2P game to download and enjoy. :)
