I have never heard of any first person view in Aion, I doubt it will be there though.

Looking forward to:
The Agency, DC Universe, Aion

I'm pretty sure it will be third person. First person view just doesnt work in mmo's. They design mmo's so u can specifically see ur character to customize them.

You guys are wrong. Aion's camera is not locked. You can zoom it in or out like GuildWar's. And like GuildWars you can play the game in first-person. Just zoom all the way in. Great for taking screenshots, I hear. :)

Not recommended if you play in pvp-party,although as markjw said, you can play everytime with the zoom and i think that there is a option for a first person

Most 3d mmo's have options where u can change ur camera to firstt person for taking pictures, but it would be pointless to play the game that way.

While you can zoom all the way in, there's no control changes to stuff like, left click and move mouse to swing your sword, right click to raise your shield and numbers to cast stuff.

So yes to first person view, no to actually fight and  do everyhing from first person.

Actually it depends on your definition of doing everything from first person. I guess you could still do the same stuff you did in 3rd person, just not some different, 1st person only stuff

"If you dont like the way i drive, GET OFF THE SIDEWALK"

i think first person view will technically distroy aion, why would you even want first person view, the point in viewing your character is so you can cuztomize your gear, and also see in all the different directions than just in front.
