Funcom doesnt have the kind of money Blizzard has to hire 1000's of GM's for Customer support. This is one of the first big games Fun com has produced so once the revenue starts to set in then you'll see stuff like customer support and  Maitnence in general improve greatly.

Agreed. And if anyone else were to hypothetically have produced this other than funcom I definitely would not choose blizzard, Turbine maybe Bah what a silly idea.

This game is not wow. Stop comparing it to wow. Give the game a chance for a few months and see if you enjoy it or not. I've played this since closed beta to release and the game keeps improving. It was rushed a little but they all have deadlines and this isn't blizzard, where they can't push back release dates after release dates.

They can compare it to wow im fine with that but when they expect it to be Wow thats when **** hits the fan.

Again, it's not the GAME , it's who runs it. Sorry, but i don't see any reason to give Funcom some slack because i paid them 50 bucks.

FFS, if you are publishing a game - do it right. Getting tired to hear excuses . Give ppl technical support. Deal with Major (not minor) bugs already. Moreover, start communicating to the gamers who buy the game.

Major and Minor bugs to you and to the professional programmers are two different things, Like I said though in any company Money is a huge factor in its Product output.  Games have tons and tons of wrinkles that need to be smoothed out during the course of the game.  Note Lack of money isnt an excuse not having enough money to do everything is normal for any blooming company.

Only disturbing thing I've really heard so far is the poor customer support by Funcom, sounds like they got overwealmed.

It's NOT a review, if you had actually read what you linked, you'd know that.

It's the authors first impressions, he makes it very clear that it is not a review and that is important because, as he points out:

"It's impossible to give a fair review of a huge MMO game within few days of a launch. Some journalists apparently think it's fine to review the game based on first ten levels, some publisher-supplied screenshots and other second-hand material. I personally despise such "reviews", and scores dished out to MMOs very early should be taken with some reservations. The truth is that nobody has really played Age of Conan like it is as a finished game, simply because it wasn't anywhere near finished until last week."

Perhaps if you read what you linked, you'd realise the irony of this particular situation, but I doubt you will appreciate it until someone explains it to you....but im not going to waste my time...
