Well even my favorite game ( LoTRO) had a quest shortage from mid 30's to mid 40's at release. Anyway I am glad I am a slow leveler but I have been hearing the same complaint from my more catassing friends. I still have not made it out of Tortage due to the technical problems I was experiencing. I miss DAoC

Then again I feel the grind myself when I play AOC but I usually talk to friends and guildies or group with them and its not much of a problem. If this game doesnt do it for me, Im going to try WAR next, and if that still doesnt do it, I may just stick with WoW untill something worthwhile comes around. AOC is a great game in its own right, and i have faith that Funcom will fix/patch anything to make it better, lets all just give them some time to do it

Around 47 or so you get more quests in both the nobles and field of dead. In both zones there are a few repeatable quests you can do but honestly grinding in FoD is really the only option. At least you can grind the repeatable kill quests. Going to Noble and doing the repeatable villa quests is really a waste since they don't respawn any mobs so it takes about a minute to do each once you know where the items are you need to pick up... Also one of the villa quests that is repeatable is bugged and doesn't work. So it's not worth making the 40 minute run from FoD for the two working quests :(

They tend to have a zillion people looking for spawns.

I am 56 atm and I have quested all the way to this point, ok so the quests seem to thin out a bit now, but still there is plenty of repeatables I can do, so it's no biggie.

Seems to me it is better to just go somewhere and grind something nobody else wants to kill. If I kill stuff my level it gives me like 700+ xp so really the 3k quest reward is like 4 kills?? I just wish you could grind in a group :( but the xp is so poor grouping as to make it totally not worth it.

They are worth it if you have quests in the same area, as you mentioned running back to get extra 4-5 mobs of xp is not worth it. I think there is one of the vanir quests in field of the dead that I must have completed about 5 times, because other quests sent me to the general area, and since I do not play a stealth class, I just killed my way through (and then on the way back killed a few mobs extra just to get it completed.
