I'm so sick of hearing the negative backlash of this game from the people who are "trolling" the game.  Why am I getting sick?  Because every single complaint (except for bugs which comes with the territory) has little to no merit since the chances of the greatest MMO to grace the PC (WoW) has those same exact issues.

Let's look at an example:

Many people complain about the quests going from point A to point B and killing X.  What MMO does NOT do that???  ALL OF THEM DO!!  What do you expect?  A SP experience in an MMO designed to last for years??  Wake up!  You can't fault AoC for doing what is commonly accepted in the MMO community for questing.

Another example, talking about how the voice-acting (which was superb on the noob island) goes away and you only have expressions and have to read the text.  Again, what MMO has voice throughout the ENTIRE game??  NOT happening!!  Sound is expensive and therefore people should be thankful that they at least got 20 levels of it!

Downplaying the combat.  This is simply absurd.  The combat in AoC is LEAGUES ahead of any other MMO.  Show me another MMO that has at least over 5 different attack animations for the same class same weapon!!  Good Luck!  Would you rather hit the auto-attack and watch the one-two swing animations you get from every OTHER MMO out there??  LOL!

What saddens me is that people will hop back onto whatever MMO they were playing and continue to tolerate the same things they were complaining about AoC about!!  Very hypocritical!

Go back to your other weak MMOs and leave the AoC community alone.  We will be very happy with people who like the game.  Even if it's just 50k subscribers!!

Well, I don't really care about trolling it's nothing new, I do find it amusing people complain about the voice acting gone after 20 thing..

The game is already THIRTY-TWO GB.

Hey OP, you hate us troller so bad, why are posting here on MMORPG.com instead of the official forums?  Why bother posting here.  If I hated trolls as bad as you do, OP, I damn well wouldn't go where they are free to speak their mind about the game.  I'd go where Funcom bans people, like maybe the official forums.  This leads me to believe you are trolling the trolls or you have issues with the game as much as the trolls do and are just afraid to admit what the trolls are not afraid to admit.

So? Sony did this as well shortly after SWG went live.  Why shouldn't they? That way they can pay attention to REAL issues that REAL PAYING customers are having. Not reading all the pointless troll posts of ppl who hate the game yet they don't even play it but have so much bad to say about it.

 Ah, there are doom-n-gloomers on every forum for every game.

 They are like the insects beneath your feet. Irritating but ignorable.

 I am having fun in AoC. Had fun in WoW and EQII and SWG and VG and EVE and so on. But, I think this game is better than those. But, that's me.
