My wife and I started the trial. I still have an old station account, but am using the trial to see if we'll enjoy it together, before buying and starting up. We both made a character, but it asked mine to pick a server, but different. Her character creation screen is also different. Was wondering what to do so we can play the trial together. Once fixed will we both start in "The mines of glooming deep" or whatever together or is that a solo tutorial?

Sounds like you're both going to start in The Mines of Gloomingdeep but on 2 different servers.  You went in the traditional way by picking your server.  She is on the "Escape to Norrath" server which is the free trial server.

I'm sure there's a way to d-load EQ onto her computer and then start just the same as you did with a free Station account.  But right now, you're not on the same server.

*Edit*  And you can play together, you just both need to be on the same server.

Yeah, I figured it out. For some odd reason my old account still had a 21 day non-recurring subscription left (which is odd since I haven't played or used the account in years, but whatever). I just created a new account to try the trial with and that fixed the problem.
