The number of people that will join in the comming weeks/months will be greater than the number of people that will leave. That's a fact I'm almost sure of. None of my RL mmo friends have bought the game yet, still waiting for the hype to calm down. I think there are a lot others. |

In Belgium they use the same method in one of the biggest game store: GameMania. They put the box in the shelves so that you can (pre-)order the game. GameMania had boxes in stores a month before launch. |

I wonder how the buddy keys will come in view with this after say 10-15 days. Will some buy the games as well and push the subscribers to about a million? Also I guess people are waiting for money to maybe upgrade their computers, which this game might be a nice opertunity for. It's top 10 player in the MMO market.. but hardly makes Blizz scared I think.

Well as it stands right now it's beating what WoW did at release, anything else is supposition and guesswork. The game in general has had excellent reviews and scores for a newly released mmo, which are notorious in the industry for piss poor ratings. Lets do what all should have dome with the game and wait and see. Else we could all end up looking like the fools who predicted AoC would bomb at release. Imo the game is decent it has problems but they all do its intrinsic to the genre, but from my point of view it has infinitely more going for it than WoW ever did with the exception of system requirements. |
