I typically play MMOs with a close friend who is far away--it's a chance to chat and "hang out." We have busy lives and so rarely have time for more than one character. We both like AoC but were wondering if it's possible to play through levels 1-20 strictly in multiplayer, so we could do it together. Or is not playing the Destiny Quests going to screw us out of access to content/quests later on? Or are we better off meeting up at 20? Does anyone know? --- Morbrin

Does anyone know? --- Morbrin You can play from level 5 i think, getting to lvl 5 doesn't take long ;]

Does anyone know? --- Morbrin After lvl 5 you can meet up and do multiplayer ones. You'll need to get in the right instance tho as every zone has anywhere from 5 to 20 instances. You just cant meet him in the zone. Also, you'll want to do the destiny quest as its the only decent loot in the game.

Currently also playing with an RL-friend since lv 5, both lvl 18 now. In my opinion it is a bit group-unfriendly. The dimensions, the night-questline, the collect-quests... (ok, the "kill 50 xxx"-quest in a starter-zone affects solo-players too). We have tested the hellsand-zone in "epic"-mode, but it seemed to be the same except the mobs had far more HP. We didn´t see big differences in loot on our short trip there. Some day-quests we had to do twice, like this crypt-quest in the tomb in helsand. Gaudium

My understanding is that they have to be done solo. Did you do them at all? Alternate between them and day quests? Agree to meet again at a specific level? Thanks all.
