The Hand of Sigmar, a medium Rp and Pvp is making a comback. During its birth during the games announcement and early months, the Hand decided to go into hibernation. But with the game close to release, we are begginning recruiting. The site is gonna need updating but still give the front page a read.

Myself, my wife and about 15 friends from other games decided to make a guild. Consider us for an Alliance:)

It would be great for the hand to form a couple of alliances, it would allow for a larger sense of community to take place.

Backstory:The Hand of Sigmar was founded by Gaelen Cutlass, a bandit of some renown during the time when Sigmar came to power. Gaelen, loving a good fight joined Sigmar's numerous battles and witnessed a great many feats. Practically worshiping the man, the bandit formed The Hand out of a group of soldiers and ragtag bandits. Though an unofficial group at that time, the Hand , driven by an insane desire to please Sigmar, were fiercesom foes.When Sigmar was crowned the first emperor, the Hand receive the benefit of performing a deal of tasks for the Hero. Over time the small band hand grown and was known as one of the most loyal regiments in Sigmar's command. Gaelen had turned out to be a wise leader and led the Hand to prosperity. But during Sigmar's disappearance to the Chaos Wastelands, the Order fell into disarray. Beleaguered by political and military troubles the Hand fell into a sharp decline and Gaelen was powerless to stop the corruption. In the end, Gaelen was murdered by his second in command while in his chambers. Instead of handing punishment out, Vaelin was seen as the new leader of the Hand and for a time ,reverted back to its bandit-like nature. Acts of dishonor marked the Orders hand for decades until, Gaelen's son, Race, who was taken and hidden in safety, returned to claim his birthright. Leadership of the Hand. During Race's lifetime of solitude, he had trained in the way of the warrior-priests who served in the name of Sigmar. When Race challenged Vaelin for the leadership of the Hand, Vaelin laughed at him and at Sigmar's name proving how low they had actually become. It is said they fought fiercely for three days over leadership of the order, but with a prayer to Sigmar, Race swung his hammer home and crushed Valine's skull.Rache took swift leadership of the Hand, but It would be decades before it would be even close to returning to its former glory. Over time The Hand of Sigmar became a deeply religious sect of the empire once more and gained prestige as it patrolled the Empire's borders and fought its enemies. Now, In the Age of Reckoning, during the rule of Karl Franz. The small regiment will once again be tested as reports of an overwhelming WAAAHG! Besiege the dwarven lands and a strange plague travels throughout the Empire.

   Greetings brothers and sisters of Sigmar. I am the High priest Fuhrung, leader of the Hand of Sigmar, do you plan on being intiated into our holy order? Are you a strong followerer of Sigmar? What you have just read is a summarized description of our history, a history that rarely leaves the Hand's library. I have allowed this information to leave us so that other may become aware of our rich background and join our ranks.I am looking for those strong of will and arm.

Historian:A place of most esteemed honour in the Hand. The Historian is our lore keeper and chronicle of tales. He will write and record our greatest deeds.

(Historians will be able to hire scribes from within the rank of the Hand)

The Hammer: The Hammer is the honor guard of the Hand. Only the most experienced and devoted warriors shall reach this. Those in The Hammer are the last line of defence for the Hand and is made of the most experienced players.

The Hand's Ranged Regiment:One of the Hand's smallest subgroups, and expert of the blackpowder or of sorcery may join this if he or she wishes to take out the Hand's enemies from afar.

Monk: The Monk is a warrior priest that has proved his valor through battle and with his brothers will help push the front lines and break through the enemy defence.

FootSoldiers of Sigmar: The first soldiers are the first line of defence,made up of almost any type of troop. Foot soldiers should be driven by Sigmar.

Acolyte: The newest members of the Hand, acolyte's have yet to prove thier worth on the battle field and will fight in the front of the lines, hoping to gain honour through battle and prove thier worth.

The Staff:The staff is an option regiment of the Hand offering a home for magic users who do not wish to mingle with others except thier own.

These are an example of the ranks in the Hand of Sigmar.All of them are opened as of right now.

Commandments of the Hand!

• A member of the Hand will also assist thoughs weaker than him, even if thier attitude is unbearable.
• A member of the Hand will never turn his back or raise his weapon against a brother, unless it is a contest of honour.
• All spoils of war go to the Hand and in return your armour and any worldly need will be paid for.
• Never doupt Sigmar, or his teachings. If you turn your back to Sigmar it will be hierchy and the punishment is swift and painful death. Always talk to the priests if you are douptful.
• Never steal or cheat anyone of kind heart.
• Cowardnice will not be tolerated! The Hand of Sigmar always stands thier ground unless they are against all odds. Turn you back and you will be tried before the council.
• Those are some of the Commandments of the Hand of Sigmar. As you can see we are a strict and orderly regiment.
• None roleplaying rules.
• Don't act like a jerk to anyone, Leet speak and attitude will not be tolerated and you will be banned from the guild.
• Although it seems very strict and serious, don't be afraid to act like yourself.
• The members of the hand will contribute a percent of thier spoils to the guild and in return, your armour and weapons will be payed for.
