GrindWorld Online is a Sandbox-Style MMORPG I'm developing in which 'Grinding' to build your Character is the primary aspect of game play. The game features Quest Grinding, Mob Grinding, and Craft Grinding. There are no levels. There are a unlimited number of Skills, Weapons, Spells, etc,  and each has its own XP rating in which players can build-up indefinately.  I'm looking for other game play mechanics to apply Grinding  too. All ideas about Grinding are welcome.

Don't forget reputation grind, PvP point grind, and equipment grind (or is this tied to crafting? if so, add harvesting grind).

Selling Propane and Propane Accessories in a MMORPG near you.

You could also add in character title grind, second char slot on the same server grind, and in homage to SWG, grind to alpha class (which you'd nerf when a large number of people got it)

*RIP SWG* Lhargylflharfh Rex - MBH/MCarbineer, Shadowfire Server - Lobotomized by SOE
Planetside - Ramondo - NC, Emerald Server - Retired
WoW - Flharfh - 70 Dwarf Paladin, Maelstrom Server - Retired
Horizons - Lhargylflharfh, Human Sorcerer, Order Server - Retired
In a state of MMORPG limbo...waiting for AoC and WAR.

"Happy Little Trees"

Checked the OP's info to make sure he wasn't asian. All checked out good. Let the grind fest begin. I would like to donate a bit of cash to this new project. I also would like permission to start a gold farming group to sell gold. Cool?

Even better would be if this could all be automated. Like Progress quest, but with more to look forwards to than more strength (for less town visits) or having one uber skill. And multiplayer!

Lets start with a white Dot and you have to grind your gender, appearence and class first!

After that you have to grind bricks for your starting town! and so on .....

Sure.

The game will also feature player-created Quest and Art Assets in which the value of items created will be based on the quality (voted on by the players) .

Honestly, that doesn't sound too bad. Reminds me of Spore.

How about just grinding for grindings sake, perhaps you could have a "grinding ground" title, to recognise the amount of grinding for grinding one has done.
