I'm not defending FC, but remember that they never showed a siege with actual players. Every video they showed was just a bunch of NPCs and it never looked all that massive or epic TBH. FC has been talking from the begining and showing very little. Its the reason I never believed a single thing they've said because they never backed up anything.

considering the combat system and that pvp siege is basically just a castle siege, 48vs48 doesnt sound so bad. and least it isnt mindless lotro crap or wow bg bs.
if FC has designed the system correctly (eg. nice benefits for capturing halls,etc) then it could actually end up being more decent than most of the crap that is out atm. |

Good luck trying to get more than 96 people in a single battle area working at at the same time. In EVE, it's a complete slideshow. Incidentally, please post some proof that Funcom ever said anyting other than 48x48. |

BGs have a specific design and purpose. designed in a different manner an instance, even when it is limited to 48vs48 for the time being, is no longer a BG. it seems more like a castlesiege ala Total War than AV for example |
